This book pissed me off. I had high expectations for this author after The Silent Patient but the following two books has been such a disappointment. The way this book was written came across as so juvenile. Also it was predictable, within the first few chapters I had guessed that

Elliot was the murderer and he was writing this from jail.

I might be done with this author.
