Volume 8 continues to deliver with incredible artwork, incredible one-liners, and an incredible message.
This volume gives off different vibes from the previous ones because it is the first time in a while that the plot isn't clearly war-centered. Instead this volume tackles a lot of other difficult social issues that are incredibly important and I was honestly so pleased by how they bring up some controversial topics in ways that encourage healthy and fair conversations among our characters.
I don't like going into much detail with these reviews because I don't like giving much away. I will say that there are a lot of interesting character and relationship developments, and I am curious to see how it will impact the rest of the series from here out. This series continues to be equal parts important and entertaining and I hope that it continues.

What a perfect and epic ending to such a fun series. The Last Olympian continues to have the same fast-paced, witty feel as the previous books in the series. This was everything I needed it to be.
Full of fun, full of action and full of character development. This story was pretty much everything I anticipated (which is pretty obvious considering the role of prophecies in this series) and it still managed to keep me on my toes and surprise me on a few occasions! Considering that this is the conclusion to a series it is difficult to discuss any plot points without giving anything away, so I’ll just say once more that this conclusion was perfect and I was very pleased with the way everything went down! A super fun and satisfying read. PLUS a solid set up for the spin off series so YEAH I WAS ALL ABOUT THIS.

I think I’ve finally realized that my biggest issue is that this format of poetry isn’t exactly my favorite. BUT THAT IS JUST A PERSONAL PREFERENCE. But that being said, these poems were really powerful. The message behind these was more than enough for me to be able to look past the formatting and take away what I needed from this book. Plus they were incredibly well written! I just don't dabble much when it comes to reading poetry and so the format isn't something I'm used too.
I’m giving this 4 stars because I think the most important thing with poetry is how it makes you feel, and these poems were full of magic that had me feeling angry, sad, and hopeful at the same time. It was the exact amount of self-love inspo that I’ve been needing the last few weeks and I’m sure that when I eventually revisit this book that I will find more to love about it.

Uggghhhhhh I don't know. This book will definitely be an amazing experience for some people but it just didn't do anything for me.
Most of my thoughts on volume 2, are the same as volume 1. This one was slightly less entertaining, and bit confusing. We get a lot of information but unfortunately this led to more questions than answers. This might end up being okay later on when we finally get answers but for right now it was kind of irritating.
The best part of this one is the promising complexity in the plot. It’s easy enough to follow but shows various levels of thought on behalf of the creators, and suggests different ways to interpret everything. I think as long as the author pulls through with this on future volumes it can be pretty amazing.
Still loved the characters, the art and the plot. And I’m still invested in the story, just wish I wasn’t so confused at the end.

Honestly I could probably copy and paste my review for volume 2, and drop it here. The art continues to wow me and the plot continues to confuse me (in an I’m entertained and need to know whats going on kind of way). But overall volume 3 was just a lot more fun and entertaining than vol 2.
Unfortunately we still don’t get many clear answers here, but the story doesn’t prompt any new questions in this volume, so I personally was fine with the lack of answers because at this point it just feels like I’m along for the ride with the characters. Also this one does give a more solid suggestion of what to expect throughout the series. Two things are becoming pretty clear here: 1) Each volume appears to take place in a different time zone, I think this can be really promising for an epic conclusion when everything starts falling together. 2) I think it is pretty clear that all of the characters we meet will end up being important at some point in the story. I was worried after volume 2, that we would be meeting a lot of throwaway characters throughout the volumes, but vol 3 left me with the impression that we will see them again.
Volume 3 also has a lot of things that seem pretty promising for the rest of the series, and I’m excited to continue on with the series when it is released, not just because of the plot but also because of the characters! So that’s nice. I’m hoping that there is some potential for a nice slow burn romance, as well as some room to watch a character who has a lot of prejudice learn to see past these things. I still think this series can do a lot I just hope it hurries up and does some of it before I get bored/tired of waiting. Fingers crossed for some big moves in the next volume!!

Still love the graphics and the story.
This volume finally answered a lot of questions and I'm pretty excited to see where things will go from here!

This was a fun read, but that's really all I have to say about it. Nothing really stands out from the screenplay (I had similar feelings about the movie), but if you love HP and haven't seen this film/haven't read this yet, it's worth giving it a go.
Wow I’m actually crying over this one.
I think this was my first five star read of the series???
My mind is blown. I loved how everything falls into place in this...i have so many thoughts and feelings.
