Paper Girls, Vol. 2
by Brian K. Vaughan
Most of my thoughts on volume 2, are the same as volume 1. This one was slightly less entertaining, and bit confusing. We get a lot of information but unfortunately this led to more questions than answers. This might end up being okay later on when we finally get answers but for right now it was kind of irritating.
The best part of this one is the promising complexity in the plot. It’s easy enough to follow but shows various levels of thought on behalf of the creators, and suggests different ways to interpret everything. I think as long as the author pulls through with this on future volumes it can be pretty amazing.
Still loved the characters, the art and the plot. And I’m still invested in the story, just wish I wasn’t so confused at the end.
