This was so fluffy, so sweet, so spicy and just heartwarming. 🥹 The MMC is gentle, shy and kind while the FMC is anxious, cautious but also hopeful. She's an overthinker and scared of the world that's full of monsters and he's excited to show her the world while keeping her safe in his care.
I loved that they constantly communicate and that the smut was kinda realistic? 🤔 Like, no human woman can take a minotaur without proper preps and tons of practice, no matter how much the monster romance books want to convince us otherwise. 🤣 Really appreciated that!
Overall, this was a very pleasant read ❤️

Errr... This was quite intense. I should have read the blurb more carefully because it completely slipped my notice that this was a roleplay and was getting concerned about the intensity of NC when in actuality, it was CNC.
While it was a bit intense, that final chapter really was the big red bow on the box because it was just what I needed. That final chapter sorted out their relationship for us, had them all checking on each other, and being all sweet - it was really nice.
Their relationship in the RH trope was unique that two of them were married for 3 years before meeting the other two on vacation and then being in a relationship with all 4 of them together. I liked that it wasn't 3 men sharing one girl but all of them cared for and loved each other. That was very sweet.

Exactly what you'd expect this to be. Fun, flirty, super spicy and the taboo gave an exciting edge. I really enjoyed the time our characters spent together and I almost wailed in disappointment when the weekend ended and they had to go their separate ways. I mean, we all know they're going to be together in the end but I was still sad. I love how confident our FMC is. I appreciate that the unsure and scared one is the MMC as it's usually the other way around in these kinds of books.
Do hunt down the bonus chapter, it's available on the author's patreon FOR FREE. It adds some icing on the cake.

When the men in the FMC's life are so full of red flags that you start rooting for the insane psychotic stalker 🚩🚩🚩
I loved that this wasn't the typical stalker romance and that we were guessing the stalker is one of the men in the FMC's life. And the clues the author gave us made me feel like a giddy kid fixing a jigsaw puzzle. 🤭 Was is a hard puzzle? No. But it was still very fun.I suspected from the very start that Alex was Reid and the moment he filled in his full name on that form, I fking cheered because I desperately wanted Reid to be Alex! 😭
The plot is this was very well done imo. Some might find it a bit too predictable but I think it was purposely written that way. To be honest, I actually liked that. I think I would have been annoyed if there was some crazy plot twist 😠 because while those can be fun, they're really not necessary and can ruin the story. So I'm glad we stuck with predictable.
"Despite the whole serial killer thing, you're kinda the perfect man." And he really is??? 😭❤️ Is he absolutely bonkers nuts and morally bankrupt? Yes. Does he need to be locked up behind bars for life? Definitely. Is he seriously dark and messed up? Yes. But he's my flavour of seriously dark and messed up 😭😭😭

This is a very hot, spicy, quick read. What you see is what you get. Title is inaccurate as it's more Klaus tempting the FMC rather than vice versa. "Tempted by Klaus" would be a bit more spot-on.
I just really wished the first time was better? Like really, Klaus, her first time and what she's been waiting YEARS for, you do when she's asleep and her husband (your son lmao) is right there in the same bed??? Major ugh. Also, no aftercare???
There were also loose ends. Wish we got a bit of closure on the relationship and situation even if it was a summarised paragraph.

Oh boy. The pacing in this was actually really nice? Lowkey I was expecting the boyfriend to take the FMC home and then "hey surprise! You're a gift for my stepdad! Now get undressed!"
But no, the boyfriend eased her into it. He made sure she was 1) attracted to the stepdad and 2) willing and comfortable with them both. Both MMCs were green flags who proritised the FMC's comfort and made sure to get verbal consent before proceeding with anything.
Though, the relationship between the MMCs was kinda... weird? They were attracted to each other but not willing to do each other. Which is fine, but a bit odd. Usually in RH if the men don't want to do each other, they're not attracted to each other in that way. Here, there seems to be a strong attraction but maybe it's the relationship that stops them. Even though they're not blood related and only got to know each other properly after the divorce, boyfriend does see stepdad as a father figure and stepdad has also very firmly said he's not gonna do his own son. Which is maybe why they decided to share a girl instead.
Really wish we had more backstory on the FMC and her family and the history behind why she's so crippingly insecure and has super low self-esteem. I don't mind if FMCs are insecure and unconfident (I know some people detest it) but it would be great to know why so we can be understanding. It would have been nice to see them have a heart to heart moment where she opened up to them about her family.

Tempting Shadow: A Steamy Monster Novella from "The Land of Everything"
DID NOT FINISH: 60%
Sigh... Had high hopes but the characters were not likeable whatsoever.
fast-paced
If you're looking for an unserious spicy novella with a daddy kink, milking kink and preggo kink, look no further!
The writing and dialogue is very reminiscent of AO3 PWP style so it can be quite cringy here and there. But again, we're not taking anything seriously. Just a smutty, for-laughs, quick read.

I was very excited to get Rourke's POV but unfortunately, I felt this book let me down. I had really enjoyed Morning Glory Milking Farm and I feel that this book couldn't hold a candle to it.
An issue I had with MGMF that I was able to overlook then somehow got so much worse in this book and that was the transitions from present to past and then to present again. There were quite a lot of scenes where Rourke would be doing something in the present and then suddenly we're thrown back into his memory, spend PAGES there and then suddenly with no warning, we're back in the present. The transition is jarring and confusing and I often had to recalibrate and check which part of the story we're at. I had to reread a few scenes just to make sure I'm getting it right. It really took away from the reading experience and I was unable to really immerse myself in the plot and character.

"If you're afraid to get wet, then this book is not for you." (According to the author's warning 🤣) And wow, she was NOT kidding.
So I stumbled across this book whilst I was scrolling my kindle recommendations. I had no idea what possessed me to pick this, but I did. And I am equal parts "wtf is this 😳" and "wow, that was actually... quite fun to read" 🤣🤣🤣
I was torn if I should have rated it based on the book itself or how much fun I had. In the end, I decided a decent balanced 3.5⭐ was the best. The writing was very simple and straightforward, and that was for the best because otherwise I think it would have been hard to digest everything.
Please keep in mind: this is filthy, FILTHY, F I L T H Y smut-SMUT 🔥🌶️🥵. It's literally just non-stop smut scene after smut scene after smut scene. Everytime I thought they were done, NOPE 🫣 they're continuing. There was barely enough pause for breathing 😵💫. However, if you look at the title (ahem!), the smut is largely focused on that (no spoilers, just a heads up) 🤫
I actually really liked the premise of this world. Where the monsters keep human pets and they really care for them, spoil them and try their best to keep their pets as happy and healthy as possible. Like what a dream - to always be taken care of and never having to do anything. 🥹 There are horrible humans(?) / creatures(?) that seem to be trafficking human pets and that was how our FMC was rescued by our MMC. I actually wish we could learn more about this world because I'm very intrigued. If only our characters could stop being so horny and talk more with other people outside, we might learn much more about this world 🤣
"This book is for anyone who has ever longed for a large, hot AF monster hero to slay their enemies, free them from life’s cage, take care of their every need, and make them come in more ways than thought possible." This note from the author is accurate af and if this applies to you, you're going to enjoy this book! 😉
[Keep this between us, but I might actually check out more books from this author keke 🫣🤐😶🌫️]
