"If you're afraid to get wet, then this book is not for you." (According to the author's warning π€£) And wow, she was NOT kidding.
So I stumbled across this book whilst I was scrolling my kindle recommendations. I had no idea what possessed me to pick this, but I did. And I am equal parts "wtf is this π³" and "wow, that was actually... quite fun to read" π€£π€£π€£
I was torn if I should have rated it based on the book itself or how much fun I had. In the end, I decided a decent balanced 3.5β was the best. The writing was very simple and straightforward, and that was for the best because otherwise I think it would have been hard to digest everything.
Please keep in mind: this is filthy, FILTHY, F I L T H Y smut-SMUT π₯πΆοΈπ₯΅. It's literally just non-stop smut scene after smut scene after smut scene. Everytime I thought they were done, NOPE π«£ they're continuing. There was barely enough pause for breathing π΅βπ«. However, if you look at the title (ahem!), the smut is largely focused on that (no spoilers, just a heads up) π€«
I actually really liked the premise of this world. Where the monsters keep human pets and they really care for them, spoil them and try their best to keep their pets as happy and healthy as possible. Like what a dream - to always be taken care of and never having to do anything. π₯Ή There are horrible humans(?) / creatures(?) that seem to be trafficking human pets and that was how our FMC was rescued by our MMC. I actually wish we could learn more about this world because I'm very intrigued. If only our characters could stop being so horny and talk more with other people outside, we might learn much more about this world π€£
"This book is for anyone who has ever longed for a large, hot AF monster hero to slay their enemies, free them from lifeβs cage, take care of their every need, and make them come in more ways than thought possible." This note from the author is accurate af and if this applies to you, you're going to enjoy this book! π
