The beginning was not really great, but after Brogan was less in the picture, I began to like the story more. Really didn't like Honor at the beginning either. Or the way everyone kept nagging at her to get pregnant. Really don't like that the was they push that the heroine isn't happy until she's married and pregnant. Bah-Humbug. lol
I did really like Tom though (even if I couldn't imagine his accent, because I just have to hear it). Thought it was silly the was Higgins had him save her the second time around. Like the firefighters of the town were incompetent. But it was still lovely the way he saved her the first time. Truly a Super-Hero in my book

Lauren Graham aka to all Gilmore Girls fans as Lorelai Gilmore. I’ve seen all 7 seasons when they first released and I’ll re-watch them from time to time. Gilmore Girls is my comfort tv show. The most reliable thing because no matter what, the Gilmore’s will always be there. And now there’s the Gilmore Girls Reunion on Netflix. Gilmore Girls: a Year in the Life is four episodes that are all over an hour long, but it’s not enough. I still haven’t seen the 4th episode because I don’t want it to end.
So I picked up Lauren Graham’s book Talking as Fast as I Can. I read her fiction book “Someday, Someday, Maybe” that seemed like a nonfiction book. I ended up really liking that book mostly because of the audiobook. Lauren Graham did a great job in reading her book. She made it light and funny. And maybe the character Franny Banks seemed like it was like Lauren Graham because of the audiobook.
Talking as Fast As I Can is about Lauren and hearing her audiobook as well as reading the book was good. She talked fast in the audiobook. Like Lorelai Gilmore fast. Maybe that helped me speed read through her book. There was bits in the book that I liked, her notes on watching all the Gilmore Girls shows! And then bits I was just thinking like this was her way to advertise her book, “Someday, Someday, Maybe” oh and another book she’ll be writing and to keep a look out for, oh and a screenplay she’s going to write to. We get Lauren, you’re a writer. I liked your book, you don’t need to go on and on about it in every chapter in hopes that I’ll read it. Again. Bit redundant advertising but other than that I loved her bio.
I’m glad I also got the kindle book because she added another chapter. It’s more of an appendix of all the things she forgot to add and things she wanted to add after the book was published. Like thanking everyone for taking half-face photos with her half-face on the book cover.
Seeing our faces united across states and countries felt like a thank-you, a virtual “face hug” if you will, a gesture of support in a way that I couldn’t possibly have predicted and that I’ll never tire of...”
I was actually thinking of taking a “face hug” photo. Someday. Maybe.
Until then here’s my Instagram photo of my cast/stint and my kindle/audiobook with this Novelly Yours Seasons of Gilmore’s candle I love!!!

Nerd Do Well (2010) by Simon Pegg. 4 stars★
Audiobook abridged read by Simon Pegg. 4.5 stars★

I listened to the audiobook. I know it had to be abridged because it's 4 hours, 50 minutes. I think if I had read this, I wouldn't have been able to finish it. The reason being because when he talks about his past, nice stories as they were, it was rather slow and dull hearing about it. I think Simon even found it dull. It seemed that he was more excited about talking his futuristic spy story than his life story (his voice volume changed a bit). I think I liked that more myself. Canterbury (Simon's robot friend/ butler) was my favorite. And I really liked how future spy Simon and Canterbury would argue.
Simon Pegg only offers a little glimpse of his life, mostly his childhood and young life. He tells where his passion for George Lucas's films began. How he felt about going to see the Star Wars movies on the big screens. And it was all nice stuff to hear about his obsession for zombies. I liked hearing about that but would've liked to have learned more about his movies. I did like his comments about when he was given the chance to star in the Star Trek movies. But then every now and then his biography would change to a fictional story. So sometimes it was hard to keep track of both stories.
In all I think his short audiobook was pretty good.

Setting Christmas and it’s a Debbie Macomber book... which I always seem to end up either reading one of her Christmas books or watching her Hallmark movies (along with other Hallmark Christmas movies).

As a feel good and very quick read, Debbie Macomber books has it all, especially her holiday books. I read this book a few years ago and decided to listen to the audiobook when I subscribed to Audible’s Romance Package. I did enjoy the audiobook. It was fun listening to this while I was very very very busy wrapping presents this month. I already knew the story so if I was never lost. My favorite was when the narrator spoke for the Heroine Katherine. Goodreads does classify this as a Blossom Street series book (book 3.5) but it’s a stand-alone for sure. I think my favorite part was when Katherine told
