one of my goals this year is to try and read my physical tbr, I have 52 books. so I decided to star reading a book I was already in the middle off. I am happy that I finished this book and have it for my collection but to be honest this is not a special book or so, I liked it but nothing compares to the longer stories of course.

this was a fun easy thriller read, that I really enjoyed. good book for in between series 

this was an amazing read, really enjoyed my time with this book. I picked it up yesterday thinking this would be a longer read. but no here we are a day later and I am finished. this book is addictive, easy to read, has good characters, interesting plot, interesting world building and ended in a good way, so yes I will be reading book two pretty soon first I need to order it.

book number 15 and this is a novella collection of some short stories that happens between book two and three. I enjoyed it but it's not something special because of the size of the book, it just a fun add on to the series. I do love to see others pov further than that I can't say anything and that is also the reason why this is just a three star rating.

I was exited to continue the series after reading book one, and it did not disappoint. in book two I enjoyed the characters a bit more definitely the main character I really like her. you see her grow in this book in battle skills as in magic skills. there were some crazy twist in the almost end of the book and than the ending leaves you shocked. I did wish sometimes to have a bit more plot because I believe this book is more focused on characters then on plot. I am exited for book three but will first read the novella

I really enjoyed this book, and I finished it easy in one day. this is the perfect book to do so. it's really easy to read, a very fun stetting very atmospheric. the plot itself was addictive and twisty. yes the characters make some stupids choices but that makes this book even more fun.

I liked this book more on the second try than the first one. I could understand the story better and connect a bit better to the characters and the plot. I really like our female character, also I love the interest but I have a feeling that there will be (maybe) a love triangle in the other books. but who knows we will see. the ending makes me exited for the next book. and will probably read it very soon

after just finishing book number 10 here is book number 11! and I listen to this book on audio.

this was an special read, the narrator did such a good job with this book. this book shows me dat story  that are sweet can have important meanings and it show me that I do like this type of genre as well. I really want to pick another book up from this author pretty soon!!

this is a special book that has a special place in my heart. I fell in love with this book when I read it when it was self published, and I love it know that it's traditional published. and my thoughts are different the second time around, because I am standing in this life so different now than in 2022. in 2025 I can connect so much more to the book than the first time, dealing with my own illness makes this book more emotional and relatable than in 2022 what funny is because around that time I was already sick but I didn't know yet. this book gave me new insights in live: even with an illness I should try and live my life, and it's okay to read many books if that is the way to get through a day. I don't need to be hard on myself because that is not worth it. I did lower the rating from a five to a four because my enjoyment is less than the first time around. ( I blame the lack of concentration for it :) ) I am so exited for what the author brings next! 

book number 9!!! and I find this book the hardest one to rate so far. 
coming off two five stars in a row I had high hopes for this book definitely because I liked Megan Lally's other book that's not my name. am I met with all the expectation I had? no not really but did I like it? yes I did. so lets get stared with my review

like I said I really liked the plot, and my favorite thing of the book is the pacing. is so additive to read you can read this book in one sitting. I liked the revenge story in it and I did not read a book before with that (if you do not count my fantasy reads) but oh by the characters. don't know where to start. because the characters are not likable not at all. but that is the intention of this story, did it put me off yes. did it influence my rating also yes. but you need to be prepared to not like them and keep continuing the story because it is worth it. there was one character that I did like but spoiler  in the end I still had a couple of question and unanswered answers like [is the police officer okay and how did the kids get away with hitting her overall how did they get away with it. I get that Brooke did something bad and she needs to be punished for that but they deserve to be punished too (at the end I really liked this book and will pick up the next book Megan Lally writes.
