I usually love YA books. Despite this claiming to be a YA book for YA aged readers, I still gave it a go.
First of all, and most importantly, the bullying and fat shaming here is not something I’m down with, or something I will ever say is okay. The portrayal of Jillie as the victim doesn’t fly with me, especially when I don’t feel her actions were entirely warranted.
Also, I found the storyline ran in fits and starts. The sex scene went from 0-100 in a page. A page. Even a YA for YA deserves more than that.
I also felt the cliffhanger kind of came out of nowhere.
Again, I love YA books but I won’t be continuing with this series.

I read this book as part of the ultimate reading challenge, February challenge: sports romance.

I really enjoyed this book. I hadn’t read any of the previous (or following) books, and I think I might have to change that, but I liked what I read!
Maddox had me straight away. He’s incredible, a bad boy with a heart of gold.
At times Lacey annoyed me a little, just because of how she didn’t trust Maddox.
I think this was easily read as a stand-alone, although I would’ve liked to have seen an extended prologue, and more of Vegas.
I liked that this was a twist on the whole married in Vegas thing.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable read, give it a go!

This was a solid book. It wasn’t quite what I was expecting but I still enjoyed it. I have to admit I was expecting more action, and I felt the start was a little slow but overall it was enjoyable.
I like Brienna, as well as all of her supporting cast. They were intriguing characters, if sometimes their storyline’s fell into place a little too easily.
I can’t see myself buying these paperbacks, or hardbacks, but I will be continuing via ebook with the series. I’m intrigued to see where this series will go.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick, sweet read.
Jax and Chloe were a cute couple and I really liked the destiny element of this book.
At times I did feel the writing was a little stilted, but it wasn’t enough to take away too much from the story.
Give it a go!

3.5 stars.

I quite liked this story. It had a lot of fairytale romance, as well as a good dose of drama.
Nick was solid and Liv was extremely likeable, as was Killian and Giselle.
The problem I had with this book was it so rushed. There were quite a few info dumps and the drama wasn’t allowed time to develop, instead it peaked and was resolved often within a page or two. I just wanted what was happening to take a deep and chill out a bit.
But, like I said, it was a solid story. If you can get over the pacing it could be quite enjoyable.

4.5 stars.

Oh wow! This book tore me up but in the best way. It was so beautiful and beautifully written. Ren and Della are fantastic characters and their story enthralled me.
The things that are stopping me giving this 5 stars are the spelling and terminology. It’s a whole mish mash of UK spelling with American terms and objects. There’s no setting given, but it’s confusing and did pull me out of the story.
Also, at times it was a little slow and I had to plod through it.
Still, this book was great and I can’t wait to read the others.

Holy wow. These books... what a journey!
I loved Ren and Della’s story, I loved their journey. It’s a great story and will tear you up!
A couple of things that did bother me, were the spelling. It pulled me out of the story on more than one occasion. I accept the authors explanation but I can’t deny it has it affect me.
Also, the constant foreshadowing was a little exhausting. I usually read ahead in a book, so I like to know what happens, but here, I got over it. I also thought it was fairly obvious how things were going to end, if not why.
Still, this is a powerful duet and I do recommend it.

3.5 stars.

I’m unsure what to feel about this book. Obviously it’s a love story for the ages, but I struggled, a lot, with Jacob’s character. For the majority of the book I just didn’t like him. I thought he was a spoiled brat. Sure, he’s been through a lot, but Hope had been through just as much. And okay, the diagnosis at the end kind of makes it not acceptable to say that, but it’s how I feel.
From about 85% in, it was a great love story, one worthy of his parents, but it took a while for me to get into it.
Still, I know people will love this book, just as they loved his parents. It’s not a favourite for me, but it is one heck of a story.

I genuinely enjoyed this book! I’ve not read an Abbi Glines book before, I think. It was a bit difficult coming in on this book, I didn’t realise it was book 4, as there was a lot of history, but it was still understandable and enjoyable.
I loved Preston, he got under my skin right away. Amanda was a strong female as well.
There’s a few niggly things here and there but it wasn’t anything major.
I’m really interested in this series, I’ve got a couple of others, so I will continue.
Give it a go!

I loved this book! I love this series!
At first I was weary that this bunch wouldn’t live up to the Off Campus guys, but they do.
Jake is totally swoon worthy and Brenna is sassy and spunky. I totally love them.
I also love the supporting cast as well and I’m going to need Hollis’s, Hunter’s and Brooks’s books like ASAP, lol.
I did feel it was a little slow at first, and then finished in a rush but the story and characters were enough to prevent that from being too big an issue.
Like I said, I love this series and I can’t wait for the next book!
