I may have read this in one sitting. The humour had me cackling and the tension almost had me having a panic attack. Talk about some 3/4 stress.

Loved the main characters and absolutely adored the rest except Tati. Fuck that bitch.

I have more, but I've gotten no sleep cause the insomnia hit at the same time as this book and my brain is fuzzy.

Loved By You is a second chance contemporary romance that gives you all the feels. The themes are heavy and could be painful, but these subjects need to be discussed, and i want to listen.

I really liked Nessa. She was really giving it her all, trying to meet everyone else's expectations. She didn't get a chance to find herself or live for herself.
Xavier was a charmer from the start, but he couldn't find the best way forward.
The journey they took together after meeting again was wonderful.
I absolutely loved that both main characters were seeing therapists throughout the story.
"Growth isn't linear, Vanessa. It's messy, and sometimes, it's ugly as hell. But it's still progress."

While this book covers topics that i can relate to, like family trauma and mental health, there were others that I couldn't really relate to because it isn't something I've experienced. Don't get me wrong, I have heard of gentrification, but only in passing. What I love about reading books by authors who have a different lived experience than me is that I can learn, my eyes are opened that little bit more and all of a sudden im thinking about things that I wasn't before.

I adored Nessa's evolving relationship with her mum. I found something incredibly healing in the way they grew to understand each other.

I just know we are going to get follow-up stories for the friend group, and i can't wait. Im excited to see how all these wonderful characters evolve. I can't wait until Wesley stands up to his dad.

All in all, it's a really solid, enjoyable read.

There were some continuity errors throughout, but not to bad, just a little jarring when they pop up.

I loved this book so much. It was so cute and sweet. I had an absolute blast watching these two amazing people become best friends. The way they loved each other from afar and brought out the best in each other just because they wanted the other person to be happy was perfect.
Mali was a wonderful character, the sass was unmatched. Zach was so closed off and hurting and watching him grow was so special.
Im a dark romance person, the darker the better, but this book brought me so much joy.
It had me giggling and im so excited to see where the series goes.
I loved it so much, ive just purchased a paperback copy after reading it on Kindle Unlimited.

If you want to have a big smile on your face while reading, this book will deliver. Now I have to go read her back catalogue.
