This was a truly adorable story about finding who you are and who you want to be. I loved getting to know Ava from the beginning and could tell she truly loved her job. I hated Alexa set and I’m so happy Jack was there to make her see what she really wants. Alexander felt so controlling but in a very meaningful way. He wanted the best for Ava but his idea of what is best for her is very different than her idea. I’m glad Ava stood her ground. This book was adorable and not steamy at all. If you like close door romances, you’ll really like this. There is veryyyyyy little steam. But it’s still such a cute romcom that had me smiling the whole time and wishing we could be back on flights to tropical destinations soon!
WOW WOW WOW!!! Do you like Romeo and Juliet retelling? Do you like YA romance? Do you like Broadway?? THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!! Wow from page 1 I was hooked. This book exceeded any expectations I had going into it. This book satisfied the need I had for a fast paced romance and the Broadway elements definitely helped! I’m a huge Broadway fan and have been dreaming of seeing shows ever since they shut down
This is one of my all time favorite romances! I have read and listened to the audiobook so many times! I listened to the audiobook while working and finished it so quickly! I love Alexa and Drew’s dynamic and I love seeing them fall in love. I love the dual POV and getting to see into both of their heads! A lot of the problems from this book could be solved if they WOULD COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER!!! Like for real just say what’s on your mind
No review I write will be good enough to really talk about this book. This book was really eye opening and I learned so much about the Philippines. I knew of some of the things happening in the Philippines but this book really shows you so much more. I’m really glad I read this book, and listened to the audiobook! It was narrated so well and I loved hearing all of the different characters. It had me in tears by the end of the book, crying while driving to work! I really don’t know how to put my feelings about this book into words other than me telling you to read this book. The audiobook is one that is so easy to listen to and you forget what you’re doing and half the book has gone by. Anyways, I will highly highly recommend you check this book out. You’ll walk away from it having learned so much and that’s such a good feeling! ⠀
Ahhh this was adorable!! I really loved how supportive mias friends were, but also critical of her when she needed a little check in with reality (if that makes sense) this book had me guessing which boy she ends up with in the end and I am glad I picked the one I did because wow they are ADORABLE. I loved how all of the different storylines fell into place and how you got to see Mia figure out what she wanted. I also really liked the sibling relationship between mia and Sam. You saw them argue, and butt heads, but at the end of the day they truly love each other and that was what I loved. I found myself relating a lot to the two of them and I loved it. This book is an overall adorable YA romance with great main characters, side characters, and a great story.
Wow wow wow Angie Thomas has done it again folks. This book was absolutely incredible. It was such a quick read because I didn’t want to put it down. I loved getting to know maverick and Lisa and finding out what made them “them”. If you haven’t read The Hate U Give, you really should. This is a prequel to that book and both of these books are so good! This book is heartbreaking, funny, puts a smile on your face, and makes you feel so many emotions. I highly highly recommend this book to anyone and can’t share my love for Angie Thomas’s books. I have On the Come Up on hold at the library and I can’t wait to read that one! ⠀

Seriously, if you haven’t read either of these books, you need to

This book might be better the second time around! I loved the audiobook so much and the narrator was incredible! They really brought all of the characters to life and made me not want to stop listening! I loved Carlos and nic so much and I forgot just how much I did! Jasmine Guillory has crushed it again with this book and her amazing characters and stories. I enjoy the food, the fun, and a little bit of the drama that comes with all of these books! These are some of my all time favorite books and I can’t will always recommend them!
Gavin and Thea are forever my OTP!!!! This was the second time I’ve read this book and it felt just like the first. I listened to the audiobook and my heart was beating so fast during parts and smiling and laughing to others. These characters are all incredible and I love that each of them you get to know a little more as the book goes on and also into the following books. I loved the Christmas party scene so much and honestly that was why I read this book again. It was definitely steamier than I remembered, although not too steamy still. This book will forever be one of my all time favorite romances and is one of the few second chance romances I love, but this book is written so well that I can’t help but love watching Gavin try so hard to win Thea back.
No thoughts, just Neil McNair⠀

Okay but the real review: ⠀
This book is so wonderfully “high school” and I mean that in the best way possible. This young adult novel makes you feel like you’re actually participating in these last few days of high school events. I really felt the emotions that Rowan felt throughout the book and I wanted to laugh and cry along with her during parts! Not to mention, this book really made me want to visit Seattle and do my own version of Howl! This book addressed antisemitism and both of the main characters about their own experiences being Jewish and it was so well done. I really loved how it was woven into the story and explained. I feel like many young adult books do a really great job at explaining serious topics in a way that anyone can understand. the characters are incredible and I really felt like my high school self connected with Rowan on certain things. The feeling of not wanting to tell people what you want to do when you leave high school with the fear of people not taking it seriously, not feeling like you accomplished everything. And Neil.... NEIL

(4.5 rounded up) Ahhhh omg. This was my ALL TIME favorite book on wattpad back in the day and I am SO happy it is being published! This book was and still everything I love. Celebrity dating normal girl trope is one of my favorites! I loved katelyn and Zach so much and they are such cute characters together and on their own. I loved the soccer storyline because I played soccer in high school and it makes me remember why I liked to play. I loved that this was not just about the romance but you got to see her soccer career unfold. I loved that. I love that you learn about epilepsy and how it affects one of the characters as well as what to do. It is not ~the best~ book in terms of writing style, it feels a little basic during some parts but I still really enjoyed it. This book makes me feel extremely nostalgic and is such a warm fuzzy read that I will be going back to and reading again and again!
