'I don't know. I don't know at all. And that's what's frightening the life out of me. To have no idea....'

This book revolves around ten strangers who gets invited to an isolated island by their mysteriously generous host, and gets accused for a terrible crime. When people starts dying mysteriously, they realize there may be a murderer in their midst who might strike again.. and again..

I read this book years ago when i was obsessed with Murder mysteries ( I still am obsessed with them, so that's a different issue) and I re-read it again for a readathon and a buddy read. Boy oh boy did i miss Agatha's writing and her wicked way of torturing her readers with the plot twists! What I love about this book is the fact that they give you the main clue of why these people die and how they will die, BUT the actual mystery lies in the fact of figuring out who dies how! Some people might fight this off-putting since a big chunk of mystery is giving away at first, but I loved that part about this book. Even when you know all of them dies at the end, uncovering the truth keeps you glued to the lines.

When you read it for the first time, this might be a little confusing because of so many point of views, and the character introductions done at first. It can take some time to get the hang of who is who at first but you get used to it after few chapters. The ONLY let down for me in this book was the fact that it is a pretty short book, and the plot development is quick and to the point. If the mystery was dragged a little more, I would have liked it even better! Extra heart wrench time! Other than that, i can easily say that this book was the reason why I started reading horrors/thrillers/murder mysteries in the first place. The ending/the murderer is so psychotic, that it adds element to the book.

Trigger Warning : This book has plots revolving around murders, suicide, detailed descriptions, and psychotic behavior. If you are easily affected by these, DON'T READ THIS BOOK. Other than that, if you are someone who wants to dive into the world of murder mysteries and Agatha Christie, this book is the perfect start for you!

Umm.. Twin besties with a girl gang, lot of emotions and a guy who wears glasses, has a dimple and eats Cadbury mini eggs? Count me in!
.
Okay, I love this book. Dot. First thing, The main character Molly is amazing. She is our girl next door girl with amazing friends and family! The friendship troop in this book was actual goals!! I loved it. And second, it actually deals with a lot of scenarios teens nowadays go through and it made sure to specify that it was okay to be yourself and just do whatever you want! Especially with a society that has a lot of Prejudice about a person's character just because of their behavior.. Loved it.
.
The characters were quite diverse, which includes a lot of senstive topics as well!! Especially the mom's. The family bond,, friendhips, and even the love interest has a really good personality that makes even the readers fall in love! I love me some amazing boyfriend material to crush on😂 The book talks about everything as if it was a normal scenario was just heart warming!! The writing style was amazing!! I was feeling all types of emotions. Especially the ending.. I was shedding happy tears .
.
This book has its share of issues including over thinking main characters, and the plot is not that big for a 350 pages novel. BUT the emotions it delivered was just amazing. This books is amazing and everyone should go read it. I am biased you guys. Fight me.

This book hit me hard in so many ways that it has genuinely helped me. Loved it! 😍❤️

“I was so raw from repeated exposure to cruelty that now even the most minor abrasions left a mark.”
.
This book revolves around our main character Shirin, a persian girl and how her life changes after the events of 9/11. And how her life changes completely when Ocean enters and break-dancing comes back.
.
The first thing I loved about this book was the amount of emotions it delivered. The topic of 9/11 is not very easy to discuss, and bullying and body shaming is a very difficult topic to deal with also. But I loved how it was approached and how it showed us that not everything is defined by what you are, but rather how you are.
.
The second thing was the relation between Shirin and her brother & his friends. I felt really good reading about that kind of support system when you are going through something really emotionally disturbing. And not to mention the relationship between her and Ocean!. It was definitely not love at first sight but rather quite slow ans built up. And the way he struggles to talk right to Shirin but end up saying something opposite was really fun to read about! Plus, Ocean is the best boyfriend you can ever ask for! Everyone should have an Ocean in their life. That's how good his character is. I love him for how he stoop up for her, and was ready to go through anything when it came to her.
.
I have nothing to say. This book actually helped me overcome some of my childhood trauma and hit me hard in the feels. I will forever be grateful for for doing this. And I experienced so many emotions just by the writing style.
.
I recommend this book to everyone! There are no specifics, just read this book and understand how lot of people get judged by their appearance and and their birth on a daily basis.

When a surprise attack on the palace makes Bel the centre on attraction, she has to travel to a distant land and get married to the recently widowed ruler Con. With increasing assassination attempts on her life, she must figure a way out to help both herself and the country with her fiancé & her childhood love..
.

The first thing I loved way the world setting. The different ruling clans with their hard set traits and the advanced technologies mixed with space shuttles and a bit of fantasy, this book was filled with all the things I love! Especially travelling among planets & conquering moons to display their superiority.
.

The second thing was the diverse characters. Though you deal with a lot of same cliché characters, you get a variety of them. Especially the side characters. I can happily say that I loved the side characters more than I loved the main characters. Con & Bel made a really nice complimenting pair, and to be honest I didn’t like Shae as much as I should have.
.

This book had a mixture of everything. I loved the action, following your dreams, really good romance, strong characters, loyal friendships even when everything was at stake, and it made me cry! Not spoiling, but a certain character death had me sobbing! It had it’s fair share of issues, but the positives was just a tad bit more than that, so it’s a 5 star for me!
.

Even if you are not a fan of Sci-fi, pick it up. You will never realize you are in space and all things related unless you pay attention to the names of the planets & moons! If you are looking for a fantasy/sci-fi/romance book with really good friendship, passion, slow paced romance, amazing side characters and some heartbreak, definitely check this one out! I highly recommend it!

" Whatever lies ahead for you both, remember that to him, you are all his life"

This books low-key made me cry and wish i had a dog who loved me as much Soldier loves Stanley. It is set in the 1917's midst the war between Germany and France, and it follows the story of the under-age boy Stanley who joins the army when things go awry with his father. The hear-wrenching tone of the book is really spread throughout the book.

The character development of Stanley has been done beautifully. It deals with a lot of emotions he deals with and how he understands himself as the story progresses. I really loved the part where the insecurities/grieving the loss of someone you love has been explained raw. It connects much better and i thoroughly enjoyed that.

What makes this book a 5-star read for me is the fact that even though the writing was simple, it made an emotional connection and the author had done an amazing job in conveying emotions through words. The loyalty of a dog, ugly truth of a war, essence of time were all covered well. I still had few issues with this book, but the book as a whole made complete sense and i really loved the progress with respect to character development and story-line. I definitely recommend you to read this book if you are looking for a heart-warming/heart-wrenching story of a teen boy who survives a great war with the help of his dog.

"We might all die today. The facts are so obvious. But we know we need to take the chance just the same. Because moving forward is the only way to survive"

The first line in the first page "You can't touch me", i was sold and i finished this book in a single sitting. The book had an interesting combination of complicated feelings/sibling bond/and Love. At first when i saw few sentences stricken out, i thought it was a misprint. But then i quickly realized it was to differentiate Juliette's thinking vs what she actually says out loud! And it was such an interesting twist to the regular writing.

This story revolves around our main character Juliette, who has been shunned from/by everyone because of her unique power. Everyone she touches dies. The author has done an excellent job of depicting her fears, how her hope has been completely shattered and how she gains her voice back with the help of Adam. I really loved how Adam was portrayed and how his behavior is being unfolded as we travel through the story. The bond between Adam and Juliette is really explained well and i ship them both!

There was a particular line which really made me feel happy "I am the bird. And you are going to help me fly away". After going through so much in her life, she finds her happy place and her childhood (only) friend Adam turns out to be her savior and develops into being so much more. The way she fights her power to make sure she chooses the right path, and even when Warner(our villain), tries to break her she holds onto the good side of her and that really made me feel proud of her.

I really loved how the characters were developed, and really liked the way Warner showed dominance and i feel like more about him will be unfolded in the upcoming books.

Through the course of the story at some places, the words were repeated thrice or more, which was a little letdown for me personally. It broke the flow at few places and i had to reread the sentence again to gain the flow again. And in few places i felt that the scenes between Adam and Juliette were a little too forced and unnecessary but it still made sense when taken as whole. I would have enjoyed the setting more without those scenes.

Then the Log of Warner about his first meeting with Juliette was really an added bonus. I especially loved the line "This is not the mind of a vicious human being. This is the mind of a broken girl". I could understand his point of view. And i low-key ship Warner and Juliette in the upcoming books!! And i cannot dive into the next book to continue the journey with all of the characters!
