I was expecting another couple for book 2 but I did enjoy this one. When I met Tessa in book 1 I wanted to know her story and I got it in spades here. I loved the relationship between Liam and Tessa and thinking about her past makes me 😢.

 

Liam is a rockstar that wants to escape to get back to his roots and writing again and he found his muse in Tessa. Tessa is escaping from her previous life and has not spoken to anyone about it as she is worried they will be hurt in crossfire. She did not trust men until Liam and she finally tells her truth.

 

Again another rollercoaster between Liam’s crazy fan and Tessa’s past catching up to her this book was easily a 4.5 ⭐️ and 1.5 🌶️ again the focus was on the plot for this. I did love how patient Liam was with her because of her past.

 

Again I highly recommend the Sutter Lake series. It is a great small town romance series with some tension and heavy plot aspects.

I was not prepared to love this book and all the characters. I picked this up on whim from Audible’s free catalogue. Now I think I may need to read more books by this author. I felt for Taylor instantly wanting to get away from her grief as much as possible but in walks the Cole family to change that.

 

Walker as someone who has dealt with death saw something in Taylor that made him want to save her from herself. I loved how the relationship grew but the added tension of the serial killer was good. I have to admit I guessed who it was mainly from Tuck’s line but I did have the “I knew it” moment in the car by myself.

 

This was a rollercoaster and I loved every minute of it I gave it 4 ⭐️ and 1.5 🌶️ I was more focussed on the plot than the spice which is surprising for me but I loved every minute of this book and I plan to finish the series.

 

I highly recommend this book and this is an interconnected standalone each book follows a couple and must be read in order to understand some things.

This is the second book I have read by this author and it did not disappoint. I love a good grumpy bodyguard and then as she is called the “American Sweetheart” good grumpy/sunshine vibe here for these two. What I did not expect was the people around Calla that did not want what was best for her.
In comes the big grumpy bodyguard Luke who tells Calla that she needs to stand up for herself. There were some things she fixed and then the plot twist was not expecting that. This is where I decided to stay up late because I needed to know what happened.
I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ I swear all the times where they were about to get caught wow they were 🥵. 

Again I highly recommend this author and the second book in this series is a standalone so if you want to jump into the bodyguard book of best friends dad then you can.

I don’t know what to say about this book. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Did I find parts of it annoying? Yes. Did I want to become a mafia wife while reading it? Yes! I love a good mafia romance. This book had all the action of a Mafia book but the insta lust between these 2 was annoying. I was also annoyed at the amount of times her being big was brought up so she is not slim. Do we need to voice it all the time?

This is part of a series and I am going back and forth as to whether I want to continue it. I am hoping it will be better as the series progresses. Another point that was a little strange was the bad guy we did not get much about him met once then he kidnapped her. 

I gave this book 3.75 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ there were some good moments for these 2 but her first time was 🥵.

I do recommend this book if you like insta love/lust and a mafia man who will destroy the world to protect the FMC.

I picked this up on a whim because it has been on my TBR for a while and I decided why not give it a shot. I have read omegaverse before and in some cases they all seem familiar. There was one aspect in this that was slightly different but the relationship was so similar to other’sI have read.

After I finished the book I looked at other people’s reviews and I read one that said the relationship’s were surface level and I completely agree. I feel like I got a sense of some of the guys past but not all of them. 

I am not saying thi is a terrible read. If I did not like it I would have DNF’d and I did not. I gave this 3.5 ⭐️ and 2.5 🌶️ we all know an omegaverse can get very 🥵 so a lot of men also this book has MM which is a positive.

I would recommend going into this book with your eyes open.

The last book in the series and of course a lot of things need to happen so we get this HEA. The elves are on their way to the castle while Zayn went to prepare the people already there. On the way Talia makes more friends with un seelie’s on the way who want to join the fight.

When they return Talia is greeted with banshees who tell her they do not have enough forces and she has to go into the blighted forest. This is where we find out even more about her father and his parents. When they leave they are told to go north to find someone to help. Zayn was not expecting a winter court of elves let alone who was their king.

This book we get some reunions that had me in tears and so fighting that for the future of the realm. I really enjoyed this book I gave it 4.25 ⭐️ and 2.25 🌶️ the scene when Talia jumps him so reckless but so hot.

I highly recommend this series. It is a fun adventure with a quirky FMC and her protective MMC with the best side character being a tattooed parrot familiar and his friend the shape shifting familiar of their enemy. Also throw in the banshee/vampire half Jewish mother who knows how to shout. What’s not to like?

Just when we thought they got away from Sol he is worming his way back into their lives in the worst way. This book put some things in motion with the start of a plan to fix the wrong of Zayn’s step father and reunite with his mother's people.

We also get some Biscuit and Mavros moments which are cute. We get reintroduced to Lam and we are bring Dee Dee along for the ride. I love the line “oy! Is there a deli somewhere nearby we can stop for lunch?” Not like they are in an alternate realm. I love her.

So even though they are together again Talia and Zayn have so much to overcome in this book and it put a lot of things into perspective for them. I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ the bath scene wow after that it is small touches and so much sexual tension.

I could not recommend this series more so much fun reading this book and the can not wait for the end.

This is the second book in the series and a lot happens. We get to meet Sol who if I had the chance I would try to kill him immediately all he wants is power and of course Talia has that with her blood. 

We get Biscuit back in a special way and he is even more adorable especially when he meets Talia’s mom for the first time. I love the relationship between them but I also love Dee Dee, she is hilarious. We find out more about Tali’s family history which is heartbreaking especially the Ricky scene 😢. Zayn tries to protect Talia but she is too stubborn to let him. Unfortunately yet again her stubbornness gets her in trouble. We also learn more about Zayn and who he is which is surprising.

In this book we meet more characters and some from book 1 come back can not wait for more of these characters in the rest of the series. This book is focussed on Talia learning more about runes and getting free to fight Sol as well as seeing his power. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and since the main character were not together much there was barely any spice so 1 🌶️ for the scene at her mothers.

I recommend this series. It is a fun romantasy with some dark themes and characters you will fall in love with.

I started this as an ebook but it wasn’t holding my interest then I found out the series was on Audible as 4 books. As soon as I started listening to this book it was history. I found that the character came alive listening to it alongside the ebook. 

I loved the characters in this book. They are funny and unforgettable. My favourite character is biscuit, he brings the book to life as well as Talia’s mom, she is the quintessential Jewish mom and I loved every minute of her. I do have to say there was a moment in this book that put a tear in my eye and I am sure that it will be fixed in the next book.

I really enjoyed this book and I can not wait to continue this series I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 1 🌶️.

I highly recommend reading this book if you like a romantasy with humour this is the perfect book for you.

This book, although good, took a while to get into. As I have loved this author for a while I stuck it out and I am glad that I did. There is so much mystery in this book and so much more to learn as this was only the first book in the series.

There are a few things that bugged me, one being that this book states it is a why choose and there were some moments between 3 characters and not all 4 and the one MMC I felt like he was not open to sharing so I wonder how that will change in the next book. I can’t wait to have more spicy scenes from all the characters.

I can not with that cliffhanger and I am not even sure when he next book it out but I need it. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 1.5 🌶  although there are some 🥵 moments and I can’t wait for more in the next books.
