Well that was a cliffhanger what happened to Elspeth and is Hauth going to survive? These are answered in this book and more. Also we get another couple that were teased in the first book which I love. I also like that we have a couple other POVs for this book where we get to hear Ravyn’s and Elm’s perspective. I think this was a fantastic way to wrap up this book we learn more about the Shepard King, the Rowan’s and even the Yews. 

 

Wow, that was a great sequel to One Dark Window. Twisted Crowns answered all the questions we were asking and added more questions along the way. I gave this book 5 ⭐️ and 1 🌶️ because we got another couple joining the story can I say I have never wanted to hold a MMC as much as I want to hold Elm when he was crying for Ione 😭 

 

If you have not started this series I highly recommend it. I was not disappointed and I look forward to what Rachel Gillig has in store for future books.

This is the third book in the series and I feel like it keeps getting better after each book. Another great book @authoranahuang and again loved the narration from @cindykay_vo and @aidensnovoice.

I loved this book the #enemiestolovers was great also love a #bestfriendsbrotherromance for this book i would give it 4.5 ⭐️ and 3.75 🌶️ some great scenes in this book and the amount of hate s3x the have is great.

I want to preface this by mentioning this book has a lot of triggers that may affect some people. Please go into this book with caution for your mental health. This is a Snow White retelling with the seven dwarfs being our MMCs. Eira has been taken captive and realizes her captors are not the villains she was expecting.

I enjoyed the different personalities of the men and had moments where they broke my heart for how much they wanted to protect her. I gave this book 5 ⭐️ and 3.5 🌶️ there is so many scenes but that is what you get for a why choose book.
If you haven’t read any book by Ivy Cole I highly recommend this one.

I really enjoyed this book it did take me a while to get into but I think listening to the audiobook helped. There were some moments that made me think and I appreciated that. I loved the banter between the main characters, they had some funny moments. One part in the book made me tear up the story line for Bo’s Mom 😢 “I keep thinking that, as of my birthday, I’ll be older than my mom ever was. I hate that.” I understand this so much as I feel the same way about my mum. 

Yes I do believe the whole accidental pregnancy story line to be annoying and this one was a miracle baby for sure. However I enjoyed the parts in this book that brought out emotions that we would not experience in a pregnancy. I gave this book 5 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ because Bo knows what’s to do in the bedroom. 

This is the first book I have read by this Canadian author and I plan on seeing what else she has to offer.

This was another thrift find that I have heard mixed reviews for the series. I liked this one and I think I will work through the series slowly. The story was good, some moments made me feel for Zahra as I have been in a similar situation working a job that does not care for the employees. 

 

I am glad I started this series so I can determine for myself why people are not fans of it. For this book I have given it 4 ⭐️ and 1.5 🌶️ which is a pretty high rating. I love that these characters are so passionate that when they argue they can not help but tear each other’s clothes off. 

Will you like this series, why not give it a try?

This is the last book in the Reluctant Royal series. I can not believe it has ended, this has been a long journey for Rhowyn where she has discovered so much about herself and is still learning as the book wraps up. This starts just after the cliffhanger of the last book and they have all started a war now they have to plan. I felt for Baer in this book, he has been the character that was so optimistic but he is going through some things and I have to say it made me tear up.

Again this series has been a part of my life for a few years and it was wrapped up beautifully for a debut series Avah Larke has done a great job. I gave this book 5 ⭐️ and 2.5 🌶️ love some of the group scenes.

If you have not read this series yet I highly recommend it the men are 🥵 and Rhowyn is a badass.

I was not expecting Joshua Jackson as the MMC in this audiobook. I enjoyed reading this book and the concept behind it. There was a lot of representation for grief and mental health and the author showed it very well. There were aspects of the book that frustrated me and brought out a bookish ick that I did not know I had. I did not like how the FMC would always call the MMC by his full name mainly in her head but it was like Mike Martin did this and Mike Martin did that it got very annoying and I just wanted to shout just call him Mike.

As a Canadian it was great to see some aspect that I am used to and you can see the author knows these things personally. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 1 🌶️ although there was some spice it was very light but it was perfect for this book.

If you like a book about Canadian things and an audiobook with Joshua Jackson (Pacey from Dawson’s creek) you need to read this book.

I have to say I picked this book up because of the cover. I always thought it looked so pretty. I am usually not a fan of second chances but the grumpy/sunshine made it great. I also like how the book was starting at different points for each character. 

This book did not take me long to read but that is partly because I listened to it on audiobook and really enjoyed the narration. I gave this 4.75 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ some of the scenes were 🥵 Ama knew what she wanted and took charge a lot. I love the tattoo moments, they were so sweet especially if you know what they mean to him.

If you haven’t read this book I highly recommend it and it leads into another book by Julie Soto which I will buy soon.

This book has been on my TBR for 3 years to read and I am glad I finally did. I listened to this on audio and I feel like it may have been better if I read it because the emotions I felt when I got to the end would have been more intense.

I loved this book, the journey’s they both go on is so beautiful although heartbreaking at times. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2.5 🌶️ I feel like the scenes were so intimate because they could not communicate. I highly recommend this book if you have been thinking about it, it was beautiful.
