Well that was a cliffhanger what happened to Elspeth and is Hauth going to survive? These are answered in this book and more. Also we get another couple that were teased in the first book which I love. I also like that we have a couple other POVs for this book where we get to hear Ravyn’s and Elm’s perspective. I think this was a fantastic way to wrap up this book we learn more about the Shepard King, the Rowan’s and even the Yews. 

 

Wow, that was a great sequel to One Dark Window. Twisted Crowns answered all the questions we were asking and added more questions along the way. I gave this book 5 ⭐️ and 1 🌶️ because we got another couple joining the story can I say I have never wanted to hold a MMC as much as I want to hold Elm when he was crying for Ione 😭 

 

If you have not started this series I highly recommend it. I was not disappointed and I look forward to what Rachel Gillig has in store for future books.
