This book ruined me. I knew it would make me cry, so I kept putting it off and I ended up crying throughout reading the last three chapters. And I still have tears in my eyes. All I can focus on right now is how this book made me feel at the end.

This book was a good cry and reminder of what your actions can do to other people. Although the beginning was a little too fast-paced for my liking, the rest was beautiful.

I have to admit, I’m finding it hard to rate this book. I had a hard time getting into this for the first six chapters and have had trouble getting into books told in verse before so things weren’t looking too well for awhile. But then I started really getting into the book.

Everything in this book is wonderful and I really hope people learn from it. Which is why I’m giving this four stars. This might not be an absolute favourite, but it covers many things that should be discussed. And I hope English teachers will bring this book into their classrooms and have their students read this.
