Sadly, had to dnf this one. I was already taking a leap with it as I don’t care for boxing. But, I just couldn’t get into this as the writing and the art weren’t working for me.
That being said I can really see people enjoying this. So, even though it’s not for me it could be for you.

I was forcing myself to continue reading this and I just don’t think I would rate this higher than 2.5 if I were to finish this.
Destroy All Humans. They Can't Be Regenerated. A Magic: The Gathering Manga, Vol. 1
DID NOT FINISH: 5%
Went into this blindly hoping it wasn’t mostly about playing Magic The Gathering but it is and I just don’t care much TCG’s.
Started cringing so much that I turned down the volume of the audiobook so that I basically couldn’t even listen to it. Then went and asked myself why I should even continue after I kept it like that for two chapters.
You know when you listen to someone talk about how horrible a book is and make a mental note to never pick up that book. Well, I forgot the title and basically the entire premise and just remembered what was wrong with the book and saw someone else talk about wanting to pick it up soon and I was intrigued and went off of what they said it was about (it wasn’t mentioned that the FBI agent was pregnant) and well obviously I didn’t make it far.
Am I intrigued by the murders? Yes. But am I so annoyed with how many times it’s brought up that she’s pregnant that I’m refusing to continue? Absolutely.
If I hadn’t of known that it was constantly going to be brought up throughout this, I might have continued. But it feels like in almost every paragraph of her point of view we have to be reminded of her pregnancy.
I honestly wouldn't recommend this book to anyone, no matter how close this would be to something they want.

DNF’ed I honestly just couldn’t care enough to finish this. The idea of this book sounds amazing but I’m not enjoying how it’s written.
I ended up DNF’ing this. I might come back to it at a later time but every time I would see it I would have absolutely no motivation to continue reading it.
This is the third Junji Ito book I’ve read and I’m really starting to think I won’t like anything but his short stories. I ended up dnfing this book after the first 111 pages I just didn’t care enough to finish this and like the last book of his I read reading this had started to feel like a chore.
The writing was too dull and I didn’t care about the character at all. Went into this because my dream job was to be a palaeontologist and who doesn’t love a horror novel but I was already bored with this and other reviews didn’t make me feel like I’d really miss anything.
