Wasn’t anything extraordinary but it was a good palette cleanser and a fun time.

I was so excited for this book because dinosaurs and damn did this barely even show them. This was still a good book just not what I was wanting from it.

This took me quite a while to get into if I’m being honest. I loved how being queer was immediately off the bat shown as normal. But, one thing I will admit I was disappointed about was that it wasn’t more sci-fi heavy. By the end I was rooting for Kiem and Jainan. And was greeted by a happily ever after.

This is a political heavy sci-fi with a slow burn and arranged marriage romance. The miscommunication trope is very much so in this but after a certain point you come to forgive it. I personally view this as being more romance than sci-fi and think this is a good introduction to the sci-fi genre.

P.s. Taam is a piece of shit.

This book is very interesting, to say the least, but it’s also one of those books that very easily could sway you away from reading other works by this author.

This wasn’t bad but you get so annoyed with Theo and the fact that a lot of this book is his story and not Alicia’s very quickly. I honestly started to feel like I was tuning out the story and that it was a chore to finish this.

This hooked me in immediately and the audiobook was so good. I don’t think I could ever just read a physical copy now I’ll have to tandem read.
