This was interesting but I think it’s one I’ll easily forget.

A good time but forgettable. 10/10 ending though.

I don’t know why I didn’t enjoy this more. The writing was great, the story was interesting and I liked the characters but I have no interest in buying a copy. If I didn’t like historical fiction my rating would make sense to me but I do. I will admit that in the beginning I was confused by who the main protagonist was with how many POV’s there are. 

This is a historical low fantasy book with a hint of romance and includes multiple point of view’s. If you go into this expecting the historical fiction to be a subplot you will likely be disappointed.

This is a series that I could honestly drop and not care about but I will pick up another volume as it was comedic enough that I would consider this a good palette cleanser series.

The beginning was a little rough if I’m being honest but this won a few smiles and a chuckle from me.
