I liked this more when I started it originally and I honestly don’t know if it’s because I switched to the audiobook that I didn’t vibe with it this time or what. I didn’t care for anything really. This is just a book I read nothing great and nothing bad to say.
That being said I soft dnf’ed this in September of 2022 so maybe I just missed the time for this to hit for me.

I surprisingly had a little difficulty with the beginning as it felt a bit clunky. But, I adored it nonetheless like I thought I would.
I liked this more than the first book but at the same time I hate it. The story is more intriguing in this one but it made me hate book Oz. I didn’t care for him in the first book but he’s one of my favourite characters from the show so it left a sour taste in my mouth.
This isn’t bad but as someone who watched the show first and adored it I’m disappointed. The show changed quite a few things to actually make you care for the characters and keep you invested. If you didn’t watch the show first don’t bother with reading this. And if you read this first the show is so much better and you should give it a chance even if you hated this book.
This is yet another book that I wish I had read when I was younger. I can’t really describe why this didn’t work for me I just know that there’s a high chance that elementary and possibly middle school me would have loved it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone 8+
Interesting concept but very meh. This should have been more interesting than it was. And if I’m being honest other than a few scenes this reads like a middle grade. Which if this was a middle grade and not ya I would have probably enjoyed it more.
I’m starting to realise that I really like Lynn Painter’s writing. The Great American Dynasty quote as well 🩵. This was adorable and I highly recommend it.
