I wish this was longer so I could really dig into the world but I do have the other two books that I plan to read this month as well. Shae and Arthur were great but I do wish it took longer for them to start having feelings for each other as it felt almost insta love. I loved this being grumpy x sunshine but again I feel like it did the bare minimum. Overall it was a good book and I would recommend it but had this been another hundred pages longer I think I would have liked this more.

A fun time but nothing spectacular. I probably won’t re-read this in the future. 

I went into this book blind and I shouldn’t have done so. I will admit the blurb doesn’t give away enough for me to have avoided this book even if I had read it though. This book is 85% about sex. Which had I known before going in I would have skipped this book. If they had more chemistry and we were actually shown more of a relationship I could of enjoyed this more.

And the coach calling Scarlett baby was not needed and was such a ick.

This is the second Orwell book I’ve read where I liked the idea of the book but not his writing style. I don’t know if I’ll pick up more of his books or not.

I know a lot of people love this book and I see why it’s a classic. But, maybe I should have read the abridged Andrew Garfield version instead.

I had a tough time picking my rating for this book and I honestly still don’t know if 3.5 is what I want to give this book. One day I might change it to 3 stars. 

That being said this was a good book I just wish I had read it when I was in the mood to dissect it as this would of been perfect for that. If you need a short book to write an essay about this is one I’d recommend. I might even do a re-read down the line to do so. My only problem with the book was that I felt like I was being kept an arms distance away from the characters so it didn’t hit as much as it should have.

I decided to read this instead of replaying one of the games or rewatching the show. And I have a feeling I’m going to binge a few more of the books. This scratched my Halo itch. 10/10 book.

I would have liked for this to have been longer. The writing style was amazing but I did feel like I was being kept an arms length away from the characters. I teared up at the end which is why it’s getting the half star.
