Magical, heartfelt and beautiful.

It was a real struggle to put this book down, I felt so connected to Amari and the struggles she endures throughout this story. I adored her character and how she develops throughout.

For lovers of magic, mystery and stories of perseverance and hope - this one is for you.

3.5/4 stars.

I really struggled to get into this book, I found that I just did not care about any of the main characters until just over halfway through the book. I wanted a little more depth to them. I wanted to feel more immersed into the world.

I did enjoy the latter half of the book though with it's twists and turns, so I will continue with the series to see how it plays out.

4.5 stars.

I am very glad that I continued this duology as this book was so much better than the first. The characters felt more rounded and had better depth to them, we saw growth in who they were. The history of the Moria was actually given and it was much more heartfelt and engaging than the first book.

The only reason it doesn't get the full 5 stars is because I really wish the ending hadn't gone in the typical thread of they went off and had babies - hurrah. I wanted them to live out their lives adventurous and wild.

But other than that it was a fantastic end to the series and really brought everything together.

3/3.5 stars.

This wasn't what I was expecting, I had really wanted a good Disney Villains story to get completely immersed in however I was left feeling a little ambivalent.

The juxtaposition of it being Disney but in the real world didn't really mesh for me, it didn't feel complete.

I enjoyed the murder mystery aspect but it was just a little lack luster with the characters and the world building. I wanted to feel more for the characters and the things at stake.

It does have some good nuggets in there but I'm just not sure it was for me.

By far the best book in this series so far!

Lots of adventure, some heartfelt moments and some fantastic new characters. It's all coming together, looking forward to the next installment!

4.5/5 stars.

I, like most others, think Etienne deserved better. Hugo also deserved better.

But what an ending to this trilogy that I have loved since it's beginning all those years ago. The rollercoaster ride of emotions, the action, the intrigue.

I never wanted it to end.

I cannot recommend this series enough. For all lovers of sci-fi, those who love Les Miserables, for those who love dystopian action packed stories filled with despair, hope, betrayal and of course love. This series is for you.

Another great installment in this witty fantastical adventure series.

A fantastic light read for all ages.

I was sent an eARC of this through NetGalley for my honest feedback.

I really liked the premise of this story but sadly, it didn't grip me as much as I wanted.

Bit of a confusing start, jumps right into the story without giving the reader enough background to be invested.

Literally describes 'Naruto running' in it.

I enjoy the idea behind the story but find the flow difficult.
