I, like most others, think Etienne deserved better. Hugo also deserved better.

But what an ending to this trilogy that I have loved since it's beginning all those years ago. The rollercoaster ride of emotions, the action, the intrigue.

I never wanted it to end.

I cannot recommend this series enough. For all lovers of sci-fi, those who love Les Miserables, for those who love dystopian action packed stories filled with despair, hope, betrayal and of course love. This series is for you.
