I want to try some strawberry and basil cake!
I enjoyed this book so much for so many reasons.
The heroine is great, she loves her family and she’s doing everything to help them and make them happy, even if she’s a single mother but tries to enjoy the life.
After returning to the same place where she fallen in love with her now 20 years old son, she hopes to find him and tell him about their son as the guild is making her more anxious every day.
A lovely love story with great descriptions of the surroundings and a second chance at love even if it’s long due.

Something I'm good at by Caroline Andrus is my first book read from the author and was a fresh and enjoyable read.
The story centres around teenagers and their courses and their life in high-school, which is not always easy for everyone especially when they get to discover that an illness has turned their life upside down and they have to adapt.
Summer prefers to be alone and close the door to her heart by staying away from old friends and extra curricular activity for school as she can barely cope with her new life and she doesn't want to be a burden for anyone, but then comes along Kane, some will say he's an adrenaline junky for getting so many times to the ER with a broken bone or injury but I think he's just a normal teen. There's a beautiful friendship development between them and I enjoyed their story.
A fast paced young love story with a twist that reminds us that nobody is perfect and everyone around us carry a burden inside even if they want to hide or protect us from heartbreak.

What a wonderful story and book.
I really enjoyed this story and coming from a country very close to Turkey, I always heard stories about Istanbul and its wonders.
The story is about friends that will celebrate their belated friend through her letters and we get to read and feel everything that Turkey has to offer, from good to bad things.
The first part is told by Leila’s memory and her point of view about her experience and life experience. The second part is told by her friends and what they lived along Leila and how they remember her.
A beautiful written story about life, love, politics, beliefs, family and friends.
Everyone should read this great book.

First book that I've read from this author although I had it on my TBR list for a while, and what a read ,much more that I ever expected.Thinking better he is the first male romance author that I've read and I am glad I took the time to do so because I will check all of his books for sure.
When you think about football and quarterback you think about a jerk and self infatuated player that has everything he wants ,a promising career, any woman that he wants if he wants(especially the married ones) and every man wants to be like him, that's until one day when an affair that lasted longer that anyone could imagine him having,it's out in the spotline and get's him out of the team and in the hands of the very jealous husband and sends him in hospital.
Because he misses some school classes due to his recovery, the dean is assigning him a tutor that is nothing like he expects. Eliza is the totally opposite of him,she only cares for her grades and study and doesn't want to have anything to do with jocks or any player, but has to accept her fate and becomes Owen's tutor.
I love the real feel of friendship between all the characters and the great banter and dialogue is so well written and with a lot of LOL moments.
As Owen and Eliza spend more time together, they get to see a part of themselves that the outside world don't see and I love how the slow burn is created between them.
Being so hard to herself ,Eliza doesn't believe that she could have a future with Owen but he demonstrates her that she can trust him and I love him even more for wanting her so much as is obviously that these two are the exact opposite of each other and the author has made a great job in showing how the opposites attract so much and find their happy love.

Talk about sexy and virgin heroes. Nolah is everything you want from a book boyfriend and the author is doing a great job in drawing yourself in this amazing love story.
Nolah is new to his team but i just love how he knows who he is and what he wants from his life, and he wants to be more than friends with the decan daughter, Perri who is trying so hard not to fall for him even if he's off limit and younger than her.
The chemistry is on from the first moment they set eyes on each other and i love how they get to grow through their friends to lovers acts. The side characters are as usual the best and the easiness they have to talk and act and support each other as good friends is just perfect. A few twists and angst moments but nevertheless necessary for their story to be so reliable with real life events because the author has created a series where the characters could easily be ones of our friends.

An enjoyable story about marriage and family, about the troubled minds that some people have to go through and at which extent they are taking everything, about strong women and their jobs in a man's world.
There are slangs and words that I personally don't know as I don't live in the states but that didn't deter me to enjoy this well written story.
What a wonderful story and heroine. I’ve also learned a few things by reading this book and needless to say that I’m looking forward to read more from the author as I really enjoyed everything from the writing style to the suspense of the story and all the layers that will keep you guessing what’s going to happen next.
I'm a bit conflicted about this book as firstly it's the first f/f book that I've read and there's the lesbian romance writer Jackie that gave up her daughter at birth, a teenager girl , Beth , Jackie's daughter, involved in the book with the usual age drama and also the adoptive mother Susan that had an abusive relationship with her husband while growing up Beth.
Told in first person pov of each woman, was an interesting read with a few twists and turns and I for one, enjoyed Beth's arc more than the other two women. The writing was good and held my interest, but the story overall wasn't exactly what I wanted for a 5 stars read.

What a wonderful story and couple.
I loved this book and story about life, differences between us all but the reminder that we are much more than the eye can see and some people deserve much more than they get.
We take a journey with a girl that becomes a woman, Thomasina, that her life isn’t easy at all, she has to go through so many bad times since childhood but she still finds the power to stand up for her and be happy with her animal friends and her family. She dreams to travel and see the world, misses her brother that went to New York to change his life, and she only wants to live her life happy and be wanted,
Grayson was a great addition to the story, another soul that was hurt by the world and was looking for a few days of forgetting about his life and their time together was what exactly each one of them deserved.
It was my first read by the author but won’t be the last for sure.

What an amazing story!
I absolutely loved each and every page of this on the edge of the seat story full of a rollercoaster situations and emotions that kept me awake all night and making me not wanting to stop reading, even if i was like One more chapter, one more chapter and my eyes were sore and sleepy, I just couldn't stoped till I read the last page and had my heart beat at a normal pace.
If you love NCIS , CSI and other TV series like I do, this book it's definitely for you.
I love both main characters for so many reasons and I'm happy it ends up the way it is after so many troubles and deadly situations they have to get through because some people are too selfish or ignorant.
You really have to read the book because I can't give any spoilers as you have to go through the same emotions like I did.
Great writing, amazing characters and a blow minding story.
