First book that I've read from this author although I had it on my TBR list for a while, and what a read ,much more that I ever expected.Thinking better he is the first male romance author that I've read and I am glad I took the time to do so because I will check all of his books for sure.
When you think about football and quarterback you think about a jerk and self infatuated player that has everything he wants ,a promising career, any woman that he wants if he wants(especially the married ones) and every man wants to be like him, that's until one day when an affair that lasted longer that anyone could imagine him having,it's out in the spotline and get's him out of the team and in the hands of the very jealous husband and sends him in hospital.

Because he misses some school classes due to his recovery, the dean is assigning him a tutor that is nothing like he expects. Eliza is the totally opposite of him,she only cares for her grades and study and doesn't want to have anything to do with jocks or any player, but has to accept her fate and becomes Owen's tutor.

I love the real feel of friendship between all the characters and the great banter and dialogue is so well written and with a lot of LOL moments.

As Owen and Eliza spend more time together, they get to see a part of themselves that the outside world don't see and I love how the slow burn is created between them.
Being so hard to herself ,Eliza doesn't believe that she could have a future with Owen but he demonstrates her that she can trust him and I love him even more for wanting her so much as is obviously that these two are the exact opposite of each other and the author has made a great job in showing how the opposites attract so much and find their happy love.
