A very fast paced read about an ex-Delta Force US Army Rangers and his daughter.

As he lost his wife in 9/11, his daughter is the only most important person in his life, but she suffered a hit and run accident and she's in a coma induced hospitalized now. Of course, Jon Reznick wants revenge and he goes against everyone and everything, dismissing any advice and help from the authorities and friends.

I enjoyed the writing, the fast-paced story and felt the adrenaline of the rollercoaster events. The only thing that I didn't like was that he was pictured as not knowing his daughter at all, about her current life and her wishes and abilities as it's expected from a father that his only close relative is his daughter but at the same time can't be blamed as he obviously dedicated his life to his job and maybe this was expected.

It seems that I have to go back and read all the other books in the series because it definitely draws my attention.

More than love

Who doesn’t love an enemies to lovers story? A story that goes beyond what you expect and will probably make your favourites books of the year for sure and that means that must be something very great in this book.
I don’t have words to express my feelings and emotions that I went through with the characters while reading each page after page.
I liked the writing, the banter was very good and entertaining, the characters arcs are very interesting and the twists are unpredictable at times. I just loved it.

A refreshing story about a woman who wants to start a photography Career but she needs to get a job before setting up her dreams. Polly starts working at To the Moon and Back, a matchmaker company, and without wanting she gets herself in spying on the competition which is Elite Love Match owned by Olly, a divorcee man twenty years older than her.
While the settings, the story itself was quite interesting and the secondary characters are that great that maybe deserves their own story/book, the couple didn't scream a perfect match for me, they are great people with insecurities and everything you expect but their chemistry felt a bit forced and has nothing to do with their age difference.

I love this book so much for many reasons. I've never been in Sweden and was such an interesting experience to read this book where our heroine, a Brit was trying to adapt to her new life and boyfriend in Sweden, but found it a bit difficult as they are different from what she was used to in England.
Being a journalist, her brain can't stop thinking about founding the real stories behind some cold cases of mysterious disappearance of a few local people.
I was so invested in the story that I haven't even realised that I've read it in one sitting and would definitely recommend this story to my book friends.

Missed connections “ that’s how I would name this book actually. It had everything for a sweet, light summer read at the beach while having a cocktail and relaxing.
While the first part of the story felt dragging a bit, to much inside of work colleagues, friends and family for both Nadia and Daniel, the second part takes a faster pace and it’s more about their feelings towards each other and what ifs and how they get to know each other.
I liked that she took a time for herself to just enjoy the moment and met a nice guy, before actually dating Daniel.
Overall was a good read and will definitely recommend it.

"I’m patient, Rhi. I’d like it if you could give me the benefit of the doubt, not jump to conclusions without hearing me out if you’re feeling nervous about me . . . but I will take you as you are, baggage and all. The flip side is, you have to take me as I am."

I just love this story full of powerful words and great characters.
Who doesn't want to protect their own heart and soul from heartbreak? Even when you found the perfect person for you that feels like a perfect match, you still have insecurities and doubts and not going fully on a relationship because you just don't feel safe, but when a perfect man that will always say and do the perfect things for you, acting very normal and always being honest about what he thinks and wants from you, of course you will give up and give in the moment to feel and find happiness along him.
“I’ll probably love you soon.” Warmth bloomed in her chest. “I’ll love you soon, too. And then it’s all over for you. I look out for the people I love even when they don’t look out for themselves.”

Perfect read for a perfect story about love that comes when you least expect.

It's been a while since I haven't read a great historical romance, and especially one set in the Gilded Age in New York.
Some Like It Scandalous is a beautiful love story between Theodore Prescott The Third and Daisy Swann. They know each other sine teenage years when Theo nicknamed her Ugly Duck Daisy.
Being one of the notorious rake in the town, Theo has to marry someone who will make his inheritance and name a respected one as he gets himself in trouble and his father demands that from him.
Daisy only wants to became a business woman and produce cosmetics affordable to any woman, but due to unforeseen situations, she has to accept a marriage of inconvenience.
They start a pretending courting, or so they think it is, because after spending time together and starting to know more about the other's dreams and wishes, they fall in love irremediably and between kisses and a great banter, a friendship is formed, not only an alliance for business or marriage.
I love this book,it is so well written that you'll definitely read it in one sitting, has great characters and what a banter and chemistry between them. Let's not forget about the pockets!!!

What a start for great story for sure. I need to read the whole book because the first chapters have really got me hooked. Definitely a gripping thriller.

Where have I been living before reading this author???
I absolutely loved this book! Not only I love London but we get to read about it’s darker side, about night clubs and life that it’s another world and definitely not a tourism one.
I like a good dark read and this story definitely brings in me all the feelings that I was craving.
Now I really need to go back and read the other books in the series to get a bit more inside about the families and characters but this story definitely could be read as a stand-alone book.
There’s a lot happening, from drug use, physical violence and psychological abuse. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and went through a rollercoaster of emotions with every page turned.
I love the writing and looking forward for more from the author.

I must admit that I had mixed feelings about the story in the quarter of the book because it’s centred so much around Amanda and her dealing with hypochondria disease. I felt that there were to many detailed descriptions of everything she was doing and how she lived her life, but as a medical trained member by day , I can say that it’s been very well researched and it’s important to understand how some people are struggling to deal and live every single day with it because usually we take for granted everything around us or we’re just to ignorant to see what’s happening in front of us.
I strongly believe that everyone needs someone in their life to love and be loved and to experience all the rollercoaster feelings and this book is perfectly the exemplified story that everyone needs to read for a well written, fast paced story with great and reliable characters.
