**read via audiobook at 1.35 speed. Narrated by three different people with Georgian accents making it a little difficult to understand at times. I suppose I could’ve slowed the speed down a little and it would’ve been better**
This story broke my heart. My heart aches for Roy, who did absolutely nothing wrong, and for his wife, who missed her husband and just hadn’t had a chance to form the strong bond needed to survive such inhumane circumstances. A thought-provoking read that left me mindful and sad for several reasons.

**Read via audiobook at 1.5 speed. Lovely narration, easy to listen to. I enjoyed the different accents**
I enjoyed this book, but the ending left like huh??? There were a lot of topics covered, which I appreciated: raising children of different cultures, abortion, teenagers vs parents, etc. I just wish there had been a little more at the end. Is there a sequel I don’t know about?

**Read via audiobook at 1.5 speed. Narration was the same at the first book in the series, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, kind of irritating, but it fits with the story**
Wow, this book got dark! Much darker than it’s prequel. But, just like the first book, I couldn’t put this one down and just HAD to figure out who done it! I was wrong, as per usual, but it was still a fun and twisted ride.

Loved it. Loved it. Loved it! I found myself smiling while reading, which is always a good feeling. Thank you, CoHo, for writing this sequel. It was perfect.

*Read via audiobook at 1.25 speed. Narration was clear and the narration changed her voice to be childlike when needed*
This book hurt my heart. I wasn’t expecting there to be so much depth in what I thought was otherwise going to be a much lighter read. I wasn’t sure where the book was going several times, but it was tied up nicely with a bow towards the end, and I always enjoy that. If you’re looking for a story told thru the eyes of a brave child, this book is for you.

As a mom, there were parts of this book that had my stomach in absolute knots! I couldn’t put it down tho and finished it in 2 days. Didn’t see the twist, I was completely wrong with my thoughts on who done it. I love it when that happens.

**Read via audiobook at 1.25 speed. Had to slow it down to 1.0 speed when Lin adds in his authors notes at the end of the book**
This is an informative and inspirational read for all Hamilton fans. It gives backstories on the original actors and how Lin Manuel Miranda wrote/developed Hamilton. The perfect backstage pass! If you’re into that kinda thing (and I def am), this is a quick read you will enjoy.

I listened to this book via audiobook at 1.5 speed. It’s narrated by Julia Whelan who never disappoints.
I struggled with this book. Some of the subject matter hit close to home, which is obviously disheartening. It’s not a completely unbelievable story, tho it might seem that way to other readers. The writing didn’t hold me tho. I found myself daydreaming and thinking about my to-do list until I realized something big was happening in the book.

This book has potential to be really good for the right reader. Unfortunately, I was not the right reader. I wanted to like this book, I really did! But it took me 3 weeks to read which is very abnormal for me.
At an attempt be positive, I will say the different perspectives and diary entries help weave together this suspenseful mystery. When it finally started coming together near the end, I found myself wanting to go back and read parts of the beginning to see if it all made sense. It had good moments, but this is not a book that will stick with me forever.

**Read via audiobook at 1.5 speed. Narrated by Julia Whelan and Kirby Heyborne - two of my favorite narrators**
Maybe I’ve been reading too many books recently, but I saw all the twists coming. Admittedly, I had a few moments where I wasn’t sure “who done it”, but the overall gist is that it was predictable for me. Still a good read, I don’t feel like my time was wasted or anything.
