This book hurt my heart. I wasn’t expecting there to be so much depth in what I thought was otherwise going to be a much lighter read. I wasn’t sure where the book was going several times, but it was tied up nicely with a bow towards the end, and I always enjoy that. If you’re looking for a story told thru the eyes of a brave child, this book is for you.
