This book encourages little readers to think of words that rhyme. "What's a word that rhymes with red? " Then the illustrations show various words and activities that rhyme with red, so that even if a child cannot read, they can figure out the rhyme from the pictures. So much fun, and a great educational tool!

I love the cute artwork in this book! Every page is so colorful and fun. This would make the perfect gift for little babies and toddlers!

The book really does appear to be indestructible. I tried tearing one of the pages, and it wouldn't tear, although it crinkled up a little. I was surprised that the pages are so thin. This is NOT a board book. The pages are made of some kind of thick fiber, and there is no cover or spine. The pages are sewn together into a thin booklet. No wonder they say that babies could chew on it, and it is washable. Without a cover for babies to chew on, and no spine to get torn, the book really is indestructible!

This guide offers the reader the perfect journal for recording their experiences while exploring any type of museum, really noticing the things they see in different exhibits. You can draw a map of the museum layout, sketch a famous painting, and design your own poster to promote the museum. There are little tidbits of information about the history of museums and different famous museums around the world.

I loved the colorful pages full of fun activities and journal prompts! Doing these activities is really relaxing and thoughtful. It forces you to consider a different perspective and see things in a fresh way. I really liked all the cool illustrations and bits of history.

This would be the perfect gift for a kid, and would encourage some quiet and reflective moments during a trip to a museum.

I like the positive messages in this book that it is never okay to bully someone for their appearance, and it is okay to like fun things no matter what other people's perception is. The boy in this book is not transgender. He just likes bright colors, and he is creative.

I love the cute illustrations and the interesting art style! Every scene is full of emotion, and the art really shows the meaning behind the story.

This story is really interesting, as the reader gets to explore the market and learn about the exotic things for sale there. The little girl is sweet, and she notices little details around the market that make it an immersive experience. Everything is so vibrant and fascinating!

I love the beautiful illustrations in this book! You can almost smell the delicious spices in the market, and feel the wind, and the hear the bustle and the music. Every scene is full of movement and color.

A little girl and her grandfather take a walk and encounter some super incredible animals doing amazing things. The monkey invites them to climb the trees, the crocodile invites them to splash in the water, the zebra invites them to dance, the hippopotamus lets them lift weights with him, and the tiger invites them to play on the trampoline. When they return home, the little girl tells her grandmother about their amazing day, but the grandmother doesn't believe her, until all the animals show up for dinner at the house!

This is such a cute book! Through most of the story, I thought the girl and her grandfather were just pretending to do things with the animals, so it was a fun surprise when it all turned out to be true!

I love the bright illustrations and the cute art style. The little girl and her grandfather are full of energy and fun!

Melba is excited to see the big parade at Carnaval, but she misses the bus into town, and has to walk to the next bus stop. Along the way she meets a musician, a boy with a kite, various animals, and a farmer lady with crates of bananas for the festival. Together the group go to Carnaval together, and hope they haven't missed the parade.

I liked the story and the funny characters. Melba is sometimes discouraged at the obstacles she encounters along the road, but her new friends tell her to be calm and look for new ways to get to the Carnaval. I like the positive messages about persevering when things go wrong.

The illustrations are bright and vivid, and the art style is attractive. The characters look so cute and funny!

This book has everything you ever wanted to know about grilling vegetables. There are tips about how to manage the heat in your grill, and different techniques for different types of vegetables. There are even instructions for plank grilling, steam grilling, and smoking.

The recipes look delicious, and include all types of vegetables, breads, pizzas, and quesadillas too. There are colorful photographs of some of the recipes that make it all look so yummy!

The chapters include recipes for dips, salads, sandwiches, sides, grilled eggs and cheeses, and even deserts. There are also recipes for condiments and sauces to go along with the main dishes. I want to try the grilled banana pudding and the hasselback apples. The recipe for grilled corncobs looks so good too! The recipes are easy to follow and have clear instructions.

The design of this book is so attractive! I can't wait to try some of these recipes!

Update: We tried some of the recipes and they were delicious! We did corn elotes and grilled carrots.

When the Fairy Queen Titania and the Fairy King Oberon are fighting, no one is happy. Least of all Puck, who is tasked with finding the nectar of a magical flower that will make people fall in love. Puck is up to mischief, making all the wrong people fall in love. There is a lot of merriment in cases of mistaken identity, but can Puck put things right again?

This retelling of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream condenses the main story of the play, but keeps all the main characters and plot fairly intact. Even as much as it is condensed, the story still feels too long and complicated for a picture book for young children. I'm sure a child would have trouble keeping track of the many characters. The text is also too wordy and long for a picture book.

I'm not a huge fan of the art style. It's a little too whimsical and weird for me. I would have preferred a more graceful and elegant art style. The art sometimes looks distorted. People's lips are too big, and their hands are too large for their body, and their eyes have no depth. I did like the wild landscapes and the trees though.

This activity book has 10 beautiful designs, and hundreds of stickers in little mosaic shapes! It's so easy to put the stickers into place, and the finished product looks wonderful. It's very relaxing and helped me to get creative. You really feel a sense of accomplishment when you finish!

There are information boxes with facts about different planets, rockets, and comets. There is an astronaut, a moon, an observatory with a massive telescope, and even a Mars rover.

The stickers are sturdy and easy to remove from the sticker sheet. The colors are vibrant and it's simple to follow the instructions to find the right placement for each sticker. I really loved that the pages are perforated, so that you can tear out the sticker sheet or the design or both. That way you don't have to keep flipping back and forth in the book.

I love the clever designs and beautiful colors! This is perfect for anytime you have some anxiety and need a calm activity, and it's easy enough for kids to do!
