this book was insanely beautiful. the story was honest, heartbreaking, hopeful, full of twists and so much more than i could have predicted. unforgettable and important.

this was SO FUN to read. i loved the pacing, the characters, the little details that MM always weaves into her novels. kat and stevie were so life-like and i immediately fell in love with their dynamic, personalities and the insane night they had. i was screaming quite a bit when i got to see beckett (from sybg) and amy (from a&red), two characters that i absolutely love, and it was so incredible to be able to see them grow up. (also, did not see the big amy change coming, but i genuinely loved it.)

i truly had so much fun reading this !!! i (obviously) love fake dating, and queer rom coms, and pastel vibes, so this was perfect from the start. scottie and irene were very well developed characters and it was really refreshing to read about a post-breakup relationship that was focused on moving on in a healthy way. all in all, a very cute and happy read that left me smiling :)

SO. CONFLICTED. The Darkling or Mal??? I don't KNOWWWW....
Alina is such a cool main character and I loved her development, but I wasn't completely in love with this books for some reason. Hoping to read the next one soon!
