THAT ENDING THOUGH
okay, so even though this book was slow, it was so important to the story. I was very interested by the preparations for war, and I loved Nikolai. he's probably my favorite character in this series, and I'm hoping he comes back in the last book. also Mal needs to leave and never come back. I hate him. but the improvement and development of characters and their powers was super fun to read, and I'm so pumped to read Ruin and Rising. :)

not the best in the series, the ending was rushed and predictable for the most part.

so, obviously this was phenomenal. the writing was amazing, the characters are so real. the one problem I had was with the ending. so many secondary characters didn't get their ending, their ends tied up. and I get the going your own way thing, but all in all, the Raven Cycle is about friendship, and it didn't feel like that was the priority when I was reading the ending.

REVIEW ON BLOG SOON
of course this was amazing. seriously. Gansey, Blue, Adam, Noah and Ronan are some of the best characters I've have the pleasure of adventuring with, and I'm terrified and excited for the next two books.
