I have a feeling that I'll be rereading this my nephew for months to come.

Gorgeous illustrations that are more paintings than anything else, Once Upon a Cloud is a great bedtime storytime in which a young girl explores and plays with the wind, stars, the moon, and the sun.

Young Josette would like a portrait painted of her beloved stuffed rabbit, Pepette. As she searches for the right artist to paint Pepette's images, she encounters various well-known painters who have different styles. This is a great picture book to introduce the idea of art concepts to young children and to promote the idea that they can create something of their own.

What a wonderful book to explore what it means to have negative emotions as a child. Will be reading at my next storytime.

Deborah Freedman's art is spectacular. The story is wonderful.

Grabbed it because it has art by Scott Campbell. Not really impressed with the story. Felt creepy and clueless.
