This was a reread as my sister in law said she liked the second one. It’s not bad but the nerd bro speech was driving me crazy. I get to hear that all the time with the teens I work with. 

I'm at the point of my life that I can't deal with wishy-washy female characters. I am also done with characters that are so incredibly hostile to other women just to move the plot forward.
