Dead Calm by Annie Anderson really ramped up the intensity department. I loved getting to see all the different supernatural factions in this book. Poor Darby, having to deal with all of that family drama along with the drama unfolding in Haunted Peak. The craziness around the Coven was not what I expected and how Darby had to deal with the situation was so fun to read. I’m super excited to see where things go in the fourth book!
Things are getting more intense for Darby Adler in Dead and Gone by Annie Anderson. The deal she made surprised me at how far impacting it was for Bishop. I loved that we got to see more of Sarina in this book. The series plot is moving along and the new facts and clues that have been revealed have me so excited. I’m so in love with this Arcane world and all the characters. I can’t wait to see what trouble finds Darby next!
Dead To Me was my first Annie Anderson book and I am hooked! I loved the world she created and the characters. Darby is so fun! I enjoyed the push and pull between Darby and Bishop. The reason for the killer to do what they did, totally surprised me. I can’t wait for more of the Grave Talker series, so I jumped into book 2 immediately.
Bass-Ackwards by Eris Adderly is the steamiest book I’ve read in a long while. The intimate scenes between Christina and Bill are varied and HOT. I really enjoyed how little bits and pieces of Bill and Christina’s personalities and pasts come to light, and they were not things that I expected. The way that Christina and Bill fall for each other is definitely bass-ackwards, but totally them.
Rewriting The Stars by Claire Kingsley was a heart warming, emotional, journey to the Bailey Brothers series conclusion. The way Levi and Annika came together via texting was so cute. Levi had me swooning from the get go. I loved the female friendships that Annika had and also made with the Bailey wives. The intimate scenes between Levi and Annika were smokin' hot! I enjoyed the new clues and adventure to find the Montgomery treasure. This might just have become my favorite Bailey Brothers book. Claire Kingsley hit this one out of the park!
