Forrest For The Trees by Kilby Blades was an intriguing and heartwarming romance. Forrest is definitely my new favorite book boyfriend. I love that he woos Sierra with sandwiches and beautiful scenery. I enjoyed how Sierra slowly realizes that Forrest isn’t who she thought he was at the beginning of the story. The mystery about the fires in the park had me guessing and I did not predict how it was resolved. My biggest struggle with this book was the amount of characters, what their positions are, and who they reported to. Overall, I really enjoyed this story and want Forrest to be my forever book boyfriend!

K.N. Banet and Kristen Banet created an addicting world and characters. I did not want to put down this story. Once it was done, I devoured the next book in the series too. I just couldn’t get enough of Jacky and her world. The characters had great depth and kept me wondering more about them and how they would react in different situations. The world they created was complex, intriguing, and unique. I found the werecat species to be fun and a version of shifters that I have not read before.

I’d give oath sworn a five out five stars. I’m in love with this series and can’t wait for the next installment!

Jana Aston created a fun group of girlfriends going to college and the men who work in the town around it. This book is frisky, swoony, and just a bit wrong. This was my first big, realistic age gap book and I was a bit hesitant in how much I might enjoy it. Other than Luke’s way over protectiveness, I was pleasantly surprised. If I was Sophie I would have been fighting with Luke a lot over how he rearranged my life to fit with his. It was not cute or romantic; it was smothering. That being said Sophie felt like she had her life together in the beginning of the book, but then as I read on it felt that she really had just been making it by on luck not logical, smart choices. She felt a little bland in comparison to Luke. It was a bit obvious that something would happen since Sophie and Luke had a crazy, obsessive need to not have an accidental pregnancy.

Overall, I did not hate it, nor was I enthralled by it. Luke’s controlling behavior and Sophie’s lackluster personality made this story mediocre for me. The intimate scenes between Sophie and Luke are what kept me from ditching it. I’d give Wrong three out of five stars.

This book is about a girl who realizes that the guy she’s been crushing on for well over a decade may not actually be the man for her. Everly gets a ride back to college from Sawyer and figures out that she may be more attracted to him than his brother. Sawyer tries to help persuade Everly that he is the better brother for her.
This is the second book in Jana Aston’s Wrong series. I personally think it is the best one in the series. It is another age gap billionaire romance, but I felt like Everly and Sawyer meshed so well that the age gap was really a non-issue. I enjoyed both Everly and Sawyer’s characters. Everly is funny and sexy while Sawyer is sweetly calculating and hot. This pair is awesome together. Everly’s matchmaking tendencies cracked me up and allowed for some fun scenes. I was a bit bothered by Sawyer’s approach to the main conflict in the story and felt that as an older guy he would have handled the situation differently than he did. Learning more about Finn and Sawyer’s relationship was something that I thought would happen, but it seemed like once Sawyer was the man of Everly’s dreams, Finn dropped off the face of the planet. It was just odd since Everly crushed so hard on Finn for so long and that he was Sawyer’s brother.

Overall, this story was a quirky, fun adventure of finding your true love. If more age gap books were like this one, then I wouldn’t hesitant to read them. I would give Right four out of five stars.

Fling is about two co-workers who have crushes on each other, but have never said anything, until a work survey turns into a crush quiz and gets into the hands of said crush. Fling is the 3 book in the Wrong Series by Jana Aston. It is a quick read and only about 100 pages in print. The characters are quirky, but I don’t feel like I connected with them. I did enjoy getting to see a flash back to Right during the New Year’s Eve party scene. I always enjoy characters from other books that make appearances in the book I’m reading.

Jana Aston has a lot of fun story plots and creativity, but this Wrong Series didn’t really do anything for me. I had hopes that they would be witty and comedic; however, I was mostly disappointed. Fling was cute, but forgettable and I would give it three out of five stars.
