Where The Forest Meets The Stars by Glendy Vanderah is an intriguing novel. I kept wondering about Ursa. The whole plot of this book was very engaging. I found the way that the settings were described to paint a clear picture in my mind. However, I struggled with a few things. The first is something that I just couldn’t get over. The lack of dialogue tag variety just took away from this book in a negative way for me. The other thing that I struggled with was how certain character’s dealt with their traumas or how other characters interacted with them about the trauma. I loved that Glendy delved into some very deep topics. It felt like there were too many, which in turn took away from being able to really bring those topics to light in my opinion. Overall, I enjoyed Where The Forest Meets The Stars and am looking forward to seeing how Glendy Vanderah grows as an author.

This is Jason Rose’s first book and I truly enjoyed his fresh take on the supernatural world, but struggled with the hashtags. I almost didn’t make past the first few chapters because it started off slow and there were just too many hashtags for my liking. I’m glad I did keep going because things picked-up and I was immersed into a dark, but intriguing supernatural world that was very imaginative.

Jason Rose wrote the lawyer lingo in a way that was easy to understand and created an original hero, who is intelligent, witty, and just a bit slimy in his dealings with others. I don't think Colt and I would be friends other than our shared love of Pinot Noir wine, but I did enjoy reading about the shenanigans that he found himself involved in, in this new world. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out how Colt was going to win his case. The ending was unexpected and smart written.

Jason Rose’s take on the supernatural community and governing system is unique, and I truly mean that! I have not read a book with werespiders explained like this ever before and werespiders are also a rarity in the shifter books that I read. I’m very excited to read the new book in the series and learn more about the other characters and see what other ways Colt can finagle through the Magna Concordant legal system. I’m just hoping for fewer hashtags.

Bait N’ Witch by Abigail Owen was such a fun read. I kept looking forward to how Rowan was going to deal with the girls. I loved getting to see how powerful Rowan truly is, even though she kept trying to tamp down her powers. The mystery surrounding the triplets had me very curious. Greyson was such an alpha hero! I loved how he took his work seriously and was intimidating to many others, but at home he was such a softy with his girls. This is my favorite of the Brimstone Inc. books.

Dating Mr. Darcy by Kate O’Keeffe was a fun modern twist on Pride and Prejudice. I found the reality TV backdrop to be fun, especially all the Regency era activities. Sebastian as Mr. Darcy was just as swoony! It wasn’t as funny as I thought it would be, but it was still a cute love story.

Bulletproof by Xavier Neal had me hooked with such quirky, fun characters. I absolutely loved Blake and Bronx. They each had such distinctive personalities, and their internal thoughts had me cracking up often. The actions scenes had me on the edge of my seat, wondering how Bronx would react next. The gadgets Blake creates were interesting and fun to see in action. Bulletproof hit all the things I was hoping for!

Tapping The Billionaire is the first book in The Billionaire Bad Boys series by Max Monroe. I was there for all of it! Kline Brooks is amazing! I couldn’t get over his intelligent, sweet, and caring personality. Georgia was a riot. She had a great sassy sense of humor, was independent, and successful. Their flirtiness and banter was so much fun! The secondary characters were also just as entertaining as Georgia and Kline. I’m excited to read the next books in the series

Oh boy, Max Monroe knocked this one out of the park. I laughed so hard, so often. Luckily my husband finds my book craziness adorable or he might have been very concerned. I loved Holley and Jake. Holley is such a big hearted, funny, klutz. I loved all her inner dialogue! Jake is such a loyal, nurturing man. Normally, single parent books aren’t really my thing, but this one was great! Jake is a wonderful dad and the scenes with his daughter were well written. This Max Monroe book is one of my favorites from them! I can’t get enough of their humor!

I can not get enough of this story. Taming Hollywood’s Baddest Boy was positively hilarious and filled with swoony moments. I was tempted to re-read it right after I finished, because I wasn't ready to leave Billie and Luca. Max Monroe crafted a comedic tale of fighting for your heart’s desire with well developed characters, a realistic world, and spunky dialogue. Her humor had me laughing throughout the whole book and the inner thoughts of Billie and Luca were so amazingly wonderful. The effort that Luca goes through to show Billie that she is worth everything to him makes me wish it was directed towards me. Billie’s connection with her sister reminded me of my sister. Billie and Luca’s story is so wonderful that I just want to read it over and over again!
