Operation: Shadow Catcher by Charissa Gracyk was an action packed romantic tale. I loved how Colt and Eden still harbored feelings for each other even though they hadn't seen each other in years. Eden's internal conflict over wanting and not with Colt created some fun angsty moments. I really enjoyed how Colt and Eden worked together and supported each other. I loved getting to see more of Dash and the cameos from the Project Phoenix crew. This was such a fun action, adventure romance!

Nice and Easy by Erin Nicholas follows Caleb and Lexi from parent support group in Going Down Easy. Both of these single parents have helped each other out with their kids and now it’s time for more. The tension between these two was intense and ratcheted up to ten when they finally get seriously intimate, and have some fun role-playing. The way that Caleb struggles with what he considers his inadequacies is tough and you just want him to open up to Lexi. I loved how Lexi pushed Caleb and got him to grow as a person and partner. I loved getting to see cameos from other characters of this world and the Boys of Bayou + Gone Wild universe.

Operation: Dead Drop by Charissa Gracyk is an action packed and steamy start to the Slater Security series. The emotional side of the characters was great. The action scenes had me on the edge of my seat! And Ryan and Fallon! So steamy together! The safe house scenes had me all hot and bothered. The way that Ryan helps Fallon open up was so amazing. I loved that Fallon helped Ryan enjoy his adventurous side. I absolutely loved this book! Charissa Gracyk just keeps getting better and better and I am loving every second!

Southern Charmer by Jessica Peterson pulled me with a hunky hero, delicious food, and a fun-loving heroine. The setting reminded me of my trip to Charleston which just gave me some extra good feels. I enjoyed how Olivia enjoyed exploring the town on her own as she figured out her next life steps. Elijah and his shirtless tendencies had me hooked from the fist moment we meet him in the story. These two together were so good!

Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score was a humorous, small town, romantic suspense that I couldn't put down, but there were a few things that bothered me. I enjoyed the relationship that Naomi builds with Waylay and with the town of Knockemout. The way that Knox and Naomi want love but are afraid of it created some great drama between them. The suspense around Naomi and what's going on with her kept me reading even when I felt like scenes jumped ahead before a character or the plot was fully ready. Having a diverse cast of characters is often a positive, but the beginning of this book felt very in-my-face about it. Overall, I enjoyed Things We Never Got Over, but like other Lucy Score books more.

Going Down Easy by Erin Nicholas hooked from the first chapter. I had to figure out what was going to happen with Gabe and Addison. This was such a great book showcasing how two people can balance each other out so well. I enjoyed how Gabe and Addison feel in love with each other’s child. This was such a great single parents romance story!

On The Run by Susan Amanda Kelly pulled me and now I'm devouring the rest of the Lethal In Love series. I loved Minnie's spunky attitude and I can do it myself personality. I liked that she was witty, and was underestimated because of her looks. I liked how even keel Big Mike was and how he just rolled with each punch that came his way while protecting Minnie. I appreciated that this motorcycle romance leaned more comedic. The plot around who was after Minnie and how it was dealt with provided enough suspense, but didn't go over the edge into dark romance. I also LOVED the Christmas epilogue at the end of the story!

The only thing I didn't really enjoy was how derogatory Minnie was towards Big Mike's appearance through the whole story. While I get that the theme of don't judge a book by it's cover was there, Minnie still talked about how plain she found Big Mike even after she fell in love with him. Overall, I really enjoyed On The Run and plan to read the other Lethal In Love stories.

Reactivated: Dom by Charissa Gracyk was an action and romantic packed second book in her Project Phoenix series. I loved how Emilie was connected with the project and had feelings for Dom from the very beginning. Emilie and Dom are sizzling together, especially when Dom is activated. We learn a bit more about the people behind Project Phoenix and the powers that the guys were given. I’m looking forward to seeing how Jericho gets out of the situation he’s in.
