A real Emily Giffin book! It'll make you laugh and cry and reflect on your own life choices. If you're lucky enough to have a sister, it'll find a special place in your heart.

I had no clue who Issa Rae was before stumbling across this memoir. I'm the biggest fan now. It's as amazing as it sounds and more importantly, real.

I would recommend this book for EVERYONE. So long as you have a sense of humor. While the book speaks a lot of truths, that a lot of people can benefit from, the way the author goes about telling you to "chill the fuck out" is in a very sarcastic and sometimes over the top way. Which you will only appreciate if that's your kind of humor/personality. But if you're even considering this it's probably right up your alley.

For me personally, the only thing that stopped me from giving it a five star rating is that I am already in the midst of not giving too many fucks about things that don't bring me joy or in my eyes are not worth my time/energy/money.

Incredibly predictable. Especially for someone that doesn't typically read suspense novels.

Nothing impressive. Took way longer to read than it should have.

A little strange, and hard to follow at first but a really interesting story about a woman who took her power back.

What a waste. When I found out this wasn't going to be the end of Charlie & Silas' story I was hoping for a little more answers. PSYCH! Great ending though. Do they actually forget everything again? I feel like they won't. To be continued... I'll probably just wait until the rest of the books are out before I continue on.

What an amazing and brave story! I started this one awhile ago... But put it down. Then with what has been going on in this country (US) regarding race relations recently I picked it back up. It's a true story of a white guy in the 50s who darkened his skin so he could see what it was like to be a black male in the south. This book at one point was required reading in school, I'm not sure if it is but it definitely should be! I think people could learn a lot from this man's story.

Ummm, wayyyyyy overhyped, in my opinion. Good story, but predictable. Had its moments of squeezing the heart, and all the feels. But nothing close to causing me to tear up like so many people reported. The "notes from the author" was probably my favorite part, which I kind of figured was coming with all the pre-released internet hype. Maybe Someday still holds as my favorite Colleen Hoover.

I enjoyed this book so much more than I expected. Even though it's basically a "how to get over a break up guide", I found Andi to be so funny and most importantly real. I've only watched two seasons of the bachelorette. The very first one with Trish(a?) and Andi's. And honesty I only picked up this book because I wanted to know what went wrong with her and Josh. I'd recommend this for anyone who's a fan of the bachelor/bachelorette AND anyone who's curious to what happened with Josh. If neither of those things apply to you, there's really no point in picking this up.
