A nice seasonal read! I saw the ballet once in the first grade and there was so much of the story that I didn’t remember. Would love to see the ballet again one Christmas.

I love Aiden. I don’t care if he’s too good to be true. It’s the holidays and I will not be engaging with reality. Please respect my decision at this time.

This was a fun read but the lead, Bonnie, was a bit much. There were times I found her really annoying. Probably would have rated the book higher if it wasn’t for that.

This was a really quick and sweet read. Love when the grumpy one is doing their absolute best to not give into the charm of the one who is basically a golden retriever. Love when the grumpy one absolutely fails at this. An extra star because some of the references throughout the story made me squeal with joy! Would have given this five stars because one of my favorite tropes was in this book, but it wasn’t totally there.

This is the second book I've bought because of tiktok and, again, it delivered. This was a fun read. I don't care if it was cheesy or a bunch of tropes. It was fun. The description of the castle was cartoonishly vampirish but as I kept reading it bothered me less. Also Adrian may have ruined me. Can't wait for the next one!

I seriously adore this book. I love a romance where both parties are sweet and so lovable. And Britta and Wes are wonderful in their own way outside of their romance. I read this in basically one sitting because I the chapters flew by and I didn’t want to stop reading. Immediately followed the author, requested her other book, signed up for bonus content via newsletter, and am now anticipating her next book! If you’re not sure what to read during the holidays and your time off I suggest this!

There are a few poems in this collection that stood out to me, but overall this was a beautiful collection. It's a kind way to contemplate getting older and how life just goes on without being overly morbid or depressing. And I really liked that.

The forward for this collection was really good to help explain the context and history of this collection of poems. I usually skim a foreword but I’ve found it helpful when reading poetry and this one in particular was concise and informative. The poems themselves were interesting. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the collection

I love these journals and pick one each year. This one in particular I really appreciated that you can put together your own calm toolkit at the end of the boom using some of the key prompts to refer to when you need help feeling grounded.

This book is a mix of poetry, journaling, reflection, and work. This is the longest I have taken to take in a collection of poetry, and that's probably due to the prompts to reflect as well as the prompts to research further. I have so many thoughts and will have to post a full review still, but this book is for people who are ready to unlearn trauma and unpack the toxic beliefs they may have been taught growing up. This is not a book for anyone looking to glamourize any specific culture, but for the people who are open to reflecting on life with a critical lens rather than rose colored glasses.
