Well this was darker than I expected.

It's basically about teenagers going into a VR like MMO world and killing baddies and such. But what happens when something in that world comes back to the real world? This got a lot darker than I expected, which I guess I should except from Thompson as he tends to lean into horror. The ending was shocking, and I'm assuming volume 2 will hopefully be a "Save the children" type book. I did think the pacing was off though and none of the characters truly stuck with me, but the second half way strong and I enjoyed the art, especially the gross body horror. So I'll go with a 3 out of 5.

A dark, yet bittersweet ending?

Basically it's a farewell like we expected but what comes after? Can he be free? Does he want to be free of the torment he endured as a child?

Some great stuff put to paper here, two parts making me go WoW and I always loved that this manga let's the art do the talking. I read this in 10 minutes, but it was a powerful 10 minutes.

Will re-read this series down the line.

A solid issue mostly cause we finally move on from Guy being a weirdo. The John stuff seems to be heating up too. A 3.5 out of 5.

Pretty much nonstop action. Nice to see Goku having a better hold on ultra instinct and looked great. Ultra Ego looked cool too, purple is a good fit for Vegeta. Overall bombastic action and cool upgrades. What I want in dragon ball.

Kind of goofy batman adventure saving Alfred. The art is solid but the story is mixed.

Great art most of the time but the story feels oddly crafted and honestly not all that fun. Don't love the idea batman passed down times and centuries.

Honestly I was so confused by the end. You can skip this two parter Destiny story all together TBH.

Felt a little meandering. Just deciding how life should go but the stuff with John seems interesting enough to pull Hal back into action.

Cool to see Ghost Rider and wolverine in the same book but this 8 page issue didn't give much else, they haven't even met up yet.

Really good one shot! Basically a cop on the job almost dies and goes into training with Batman. But as she gets deeper into it, she joins a fight club, trying to find the killer of her partner when she was a cop. Down we got the rabbit hole of violence till a surprisingly touching and sad ending. A 4 out of 5.
