This is a nice step up. FINALLY Futaba grabs her vagina balls and is ready to fight for her love.
It's nice to see Futaba finally get the courage to tell Yui to back the fuck up and leave Kou alone. She loves him, obviously, and is worried Yui is bringing him down with her state of mind and being depressed. Also nice though to see Kou has already changed. The situation with his brother gets dicey thanks to rumors but equally gives some really good moments with Shuko and Yoichi. I'm not a mega fan of the guy crushing on Futaba tho, seems too much a try hard.
A 4 out of 5.

OUR BOY COMES BACK!
This is All for One's final stand as he goes against Iron Man version of All Might and then Bakugan. It's a pretty great showdown with some really badass moves (Can't wait to see it animated) on top of some emotional payoff. Now that everyone is off the board it's just Deku vs Shiggy now.

Uninspiring art mixed with a boring storyline. The slow padding plot and Steve going through life in the dullest way possible. None of the dialogue was fun or interesting, and while some cool moments where other heroes shined (Always liked Misty) the rest felt flat. This is not a good start for a new Cap run. I might need to wait till a new team takes over cause this is...not good.
Deku gives it his all to face Shiggy. The battle is huge, big, brutal, and then gets very introspective which was a nice change of pace. What emerges is the End Boss. The one to claim everyone's life. But deku refuses to give. Some nice little End Game nods and such, this was a hyped volume without a doubt. On to the final one!
Komi stays fun enough to read but I really feel like they can do more to advance the characters. Make them more fun. I like Komi and her relationship with the main lead male but the rest are forgettable and sometimes annoying. The christmas shopping chapter was really cute though.
Not as strong as volume 1-2 but still funny. It has a really funny moment with a bunch of characters falling that made me lolz as well as some really cool fight scenes. But the plot, one on one battles, is super predictable. I hope to spice it up next volume.
Goodnight Punpun gets even darker in volume 2.
This time we focus on Punpun's uncle for a good portion. First we deal with a time skip and Punpun hoping a classmate fails so he can get back his girl...if he ever really had her. Then the uncle storyline which is def the stronger part of the volume, focuses on the past of the uncle and why he's just so fucked up. It's really disturbing and even more heartbroken in the end.
There's another time skip and I'm wondering which dark take we'll take next. All of these people need help.

A pretty dumb but kind of fun manga.
Basically our main lead is stuck in a Shojo manga world now. Since the population is decreasing in Japan, a fairy needs this girl to hook up with a guy and be a couple to keep Japan going. In doing so she meets a guy who's slowly falling for her, but by the end another enters the picture. Aka SHOJO love!
It's pretty cute and fun at times but nothing jumps out at me as must read or amazing characters. I'll give it another volume though to see!

Fruits Basket I believe was the first Shojo anime I ever watched when I was younger. So I wasn't sure how it would hold up obviously years and years later.
Glad to say it's still pretty damn fun.
You have our main lead Tohru and she basically starts living with 3 guys who are part of the Chinese Zodiac. What I mean by that is if they get hugged by the opposite sex or touched they become the actual creature. So Kyo is a loud mouth, orange haired guy and he transforms into the cat. He has a huge rivalry with Yuki who can turn into a cat.
The series is a slice of life comedy with hints of romance at the start. It really works because of the intriguing set up and plot but the characters are what really shines. Each feels unique and fun to read, and you're not sure exactly who to root for since they all have positives and negatives.
Overall this first volume is great, with Tohru learning to live with the boys. Will it work though? We'll have to find out and see!
