Another 3 star for a Carnage story.
Who knew Carnage had decent stories? NOT ME.
I believe in the end Carnage USA was better (even though I should have read this first) but this still remained interesting throughout. Same Artist and Writer, same feel to USA, and same batshit story. So Carnage is dead, but he's being reborn, and Spider-man and Iron-man have to handle this shit before it gets out of control. The big twist is...you guessed it, someone's return. Then Spider-man and Iron-man team up to take him down.
It's predictable, but thanks saved by solid dialog banter between the heroes, and amazing artwork. Nothing to blow your mind but enjoyable none the less.

A solid volume. This is a short review, because I got so much to say about the next two volumes. So "Good" is the best way to talk about this one. Let's go!
This is a fun, easy going, well made volume to grow characters.
So favorite issues are where Mark and Eve working on our relationship. It's slow growing but feels very real. I really loved the way the characters slowly fall in love with each other.
Allen is back, and his part with Nolan is fucking great. Bloody as hell too, and a goddamn blast to read. This is easily one of my favorite moments in the volume.
Also, another great moment is seeing Oliver learning to fight along side Mark and noting they are very different.
Wolfman is decent stuff, kind of corny, but watching Mark handling the Guardians was well worth the admission.

I liked it. I almost loved it. But I didn't.
Okay so Patrick Ness is one hell of a writer. I fucking love Chaos Trilogy. So I went into this with high expectations. Kind of let down, but I do like the overall themes and messages it's trying to convey as I read.
So going through Seth's life with him is both interesting (and the past being the best part) and also walking with him through this new "world". Is intriguing idea. At first you believe he's in hell. Then maybe the future. Then maybe there's more to uncover, and like always, Ness set's up plenty of great reveals.
Seth's natural dialog with friends is the best part next to the actual past events. I'm a sucker for events that destroy people personally and damn, if Seth's background isn't all fucked up. No spoilers, but this dude has a shitty high school (and in general) life. Also I did indeed love having the main character be gay, cause I just don't think it's done enough, and added big layers to his character.
On the flip side the whole "Twist" was easy to see coming. However, that wasn't my issue, my issue was it wasn't a powerful turn of events. I didn't feel anything, I didn't really enjoy the direction, and that's with understanding the idea behind it. I just thought it lacked execution.
Overall I enjoyed it, Patrick Ness is a solid writer, but this my least favorite of his work. Still, solid and enjoyable story overall.

Well shit...this is the first really crappy volume of this series for me. I thought part 1 was bad but 2 is just a jumbled mess.
So got everyone being a god now. Cool huh? Nah, just boring as shit. Darkseid is dead! WHOA! Nah...not really that amazing. Oh still got this overpowered Darkseid child but fuck, that's boring as shit. The fights are rushed, lacked impact, everything gets fixed up in 10 minutes and you're left with a "That's it? What the fuck?"
So overall a really sour taste for this long running series. I wish this series stayed "great' THANKS JOHN! THANKS!
I still <3 you.
But fuck this volume.

Fun and entertaining.
Tom Taylor is one of my favorite writers now days. He just has so much fun with characters, and evil Superman is a ton of fun. This time we see it all come to a clash. So many people die, and the moments with Kent's father and mother is nailbiting. The end result is fun as heck to be honest and besides that stupid last issue which was written by someone else this volume is a blast. If you love INjustice like I DO, check this out!

HOLY FUCKING SHITTTTTTT!!!!!!
I forgot how much I loved this fight. BUt back up, let's talk about the start of this volume.
So what happens when Invisibles from all different universes come to ours? Oh fuck, hell breaks loose and we only have one Invincible to help. These invisibles are just as strong as ours and way more fucking evil. A lot of our heroes from all over the world start getting killed and beaten. The end result is sad and screwed up.
BUT WAIT! There's no time to sit back and breath. Conquest shows up. Who is this? Think Nappa + Winter Solider + Crazy fucking evil asshole. That's right. In the middle of almost all our heroes being down Invincible faces one of his own, one of the strongest, and the fight is scary, terrifying, and insane all at once. Each page you get more and more scared when Conquest tears through the city with Invisible in his hands.
This is one of the best fucking fights ever to touch COMICS. Yep, I'm making that statement right now. I can't even talk about some of the major twist because they need to be read but goddamn this fight just gets your blood boils.
To end it we go to a funeral. No spoilers but it's sad, heartbreaking, but we see a new Mark...one we might not like as much.
This is what I read comics for. 5 out of 5 baby!

So this was a little bit of a surprise. I expected this just to be a big old brawl.
I mean it was that.
But we also had some decent amount of dialog that gave reasoning to this fight. Oh we also got Wolverine's spirit animal....yeah...you read that right.
I don't have much to say but that it was a entertainer fun read and that's about...it. There's not much beyond that. So a good time, but nothing special.
Yes...wolverine has a spirit animal. No...it's not a wolverine.

And so it comes to a close. Preacher is done. Well...that was one crazy fucking ride.
This volume basically closed all loose strings..knots...whatever. It closed shit up. CASE CLOSED (I'm so bored...) The best part is the showdown between Cassidy and Jesse. I mean you knew it was coming, especially after what Cas did. It's both heartbreaking and amazing. The moment in the bar till the actual fight, it's damn heartfelt and wonderful. As someone who's lost close friends to fights the last few lines in this fight are perfect.
You finally see God, the almighty son of a bitch, and man oh man the ending is near perfect for him. It's a bit of a twist but I think it still works. Feathbitch and Starr all make you laugh. Like a lot. Their whole ending storyline felt a bit rushed but none the less I was smiling when certain things happen.
Oh and last but not least, Arseface...his story ends sweetly. I mean it's disgusting cause his face still looks like a asshole but still, it's nice ending.
I enjoyed it all, and sure some stuff didn't end the way I wanted, but it fit Preacher. That was the most important thing. Preacher was always wild, weird, crazy, over the top and it never stopped till the end. For that I give Ennis a lot of credit. This was worth reading till the end!
