I love some of this volume. Not all. GOT IT!? NOT ALL! Fuck...I can't wait to get off work and see Rogue One. Okay here we go.

The first half of this volume is great. You get to see Nolan and Allen being best fucking buds, and they are goddamn it! They slap a few aliens around, try to rally up the troops, and begin to work against the evil empire. Soon they will recruit Mark but not before Mark must come to face who he really is.

We get Mark figuring things out a little different. Killing is right or wrong? That's the theme of his arc here. It deals with it in interesting ways. Not amazingly but not terrible in any way. It's just okay. It ask the same question, the squid people are boring as shit, and I wasn't really feeling the little recap issue of previous events.

Overall it was a solid volume, especially first half, but nothing special. ON TO THE WARRRRR! NOT STAR WARS...But that too. Okay goodnight.

I'm going to say this might be the biggest waste of money I spent in 2016...and it's for 10 bucks.

The art is okay at best. That's about the only "decent" thing I can say about this.

The plot is moronic. You turn into these creatures based on your sexual acts. They must fight against another clan of evil demons who also are sex fiends called "Stalkers", original right? God, the pacing...this whole thing is a mess. Shit just happens randomly, like people die, fights happen, one second people are fucking, next they are on a skyscrapper...like what? Nothing flows well, the sex scenes are boring as shit (is that possible?) and don't even get me started on the dialog. Fucks, Fucks, shit, shit, that's all the dialog. Just those words...and when it's not, it's still garbage.

Skip this please. Take my advice after spending 10 bucks, it's NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!!!

The War is on mofos, who's ready!?!?

So this is it. The big moment. It all comes down to this. Mark's very first obsticale? FUCKING Conquest!!! While this fight isn't AS good as volume 12 fight it's still very very good. It's shorter but just as bloody (maybe more so) and the end result is tragic and fucked up.

There feels like a little bit of "Oh really? They did this because...training?" DBZ type moment. I thought that was a little to silly. I also didn't feel the final issue was as emotional as it should have been after the previous events.

Saying that the war itself was insanely entertaining. We get all these characters from previous volumes coming together including Tiger Warrior, Tech Jacket, Allen the Alien and so many more. THe fight is amazing, really well drawn, filled with a lot of gasps and "holy shit" moments.

Overall the war lives up to the hype and the ending to the volume makes you want to grab the next one right away. Twist and turns never stop!

Whoooooooa this shit was intense. The love tringle was okay, my only negative really. So now that's out of the way...

KILL ALL REDNECK INBREEDS!!!! YES! This was like a dream come true. One thing I hate as much as asshole new yorkers (I grew up in Brooklyn) are backwards fucking rednecks. Watching our heroes (are they though?) kill a bunch of dirty fucking backwards ass people was a blast. The fights are intense, wonderfully drawn, and scary as fuck cause you never know who's going to die.

Oh and let's talk about the fart scene. I hate fart scenes, so badly done 99% of the time. But this 1 percent was...fucking amazing. I mean I was already cracking up before the punchline cause of the setup. So this deserves a extra star for making me laugh just based on a fart scene. YES! A fart scene.

Overall this series is quickly building up to be one exciting and fun as fuck series. A 4/5 easy!

THAT ENDING THO! YOOOOOOOO!

So the first issue is to give some backstory...and honestly I nearly quit. I hated the first issue. I didn't care about it, it was drawn weird, way too much reading, it just didn't do it.

But then we got back to the meat of the story. To my girl, and we go through hell with her and a squad to take down another family. It's intense, wonderfully drawn, and really moves the plot forward. Then we get the final shot and it just blows your goddamn little f'ing mind to a million damn pieces! I WAS LIKE WUT DA FUK!?

So yeah, needless to say, pick this shit up already.

Another solid volume. I enjoyed moments ALOT in here, some not so much.

So spoilers, the Avengers once again try to arrest our mutant friends. This time Jean goes all "Phoenix" like and reads Scarlet's mind. Finds out what she did to all the mutants. And goes motherfucking ballistic. I enjoyed this up until the part people are saying "Well she wasn't in her right mind, you don't understand" yet you people hate Scott for the same fucking reason? How in the world does that make sense?

Also angel is a little whiny bitch and I hate his character.

On the flipside I really enjoyed all the interactions with the characters and especially the last issue where a certain red head tells a blue buddy to speak up and love her. BAM! Some furry action!

Anyway fun stuff, nothing amazing, but solid. Hope it keeps up.

Holy smokers (I'm so lame) this was good. So yeah, why haven't I read this earlier? Weird right?

Jessica Jones isn't part of the Avengers anymore. She's a PI, doing her own thing, living her own life. She also loves the word fuck. Like more than me. That's insane...cause I fuck all the time. I mean say fuck, but yeah, FUCK IS MY WORD JONES!

But yeah my main two issues are the cursing and art. Well partly. I just feel sometimes they curse for the sake of cursing. Also the art kind of hurts my eyes at times. Everyone is very ugly...but sometimes I love it because it's very very unique. And I gotta appreciate it.

Now the storylines. They're noire style, weird, down to earth, yet still feels like it's in the marvel universe. I freaking love the storyline with Cap, and then the one with Jones (not Jessica) is intriguing, keeps you guessing, and ends with sadness. I really loved it. The art here makes some scenes downright depressing, but in a good way...know what I'm saying?

So yeah, my wife ordered me volume 2-4 for Christmas and I'm excited to read them just as much!

I really enjoyed this volume. I love weird ass towns, with weird ass people, that usually end up in death.

Mark is a really weird guy. Yes, he has aspergers but he's still weird in general. His mother is a evil bitch who has a lot up her sleeve. You also have his father who's done some truly fucked up shit, but you don't know everything he did.

The story continues the mystery, builds better character bonds, and makes you start to see how all these characters connect. I have to say I'm impressed with how much better the dialog has become. Like it felt more natural this time around and the last few pages made me want the next volume right away...oh wait, already grabbed it.

Also Bryan is a awesome guy. So that's a plus. Check this stuff out!

Fuck, I wanna love this more...I really do...but I don't. It's weird too, because I'm actually really enjoying new X-men a lot.

So this still focuses on Cyclops mostly but again, my main issue with last volume, is them being stuck with our favorite demon in hell. It's boring, it's confusing with the art, and honestly just not that fun or enjoyable to read.

On the flipside the human moments do work..at times. The best parts are when the mutants are interacting with each other in non-fights and such. Much more enjoyable and interesting to read. If it focused on that more I'd enjoy it more.

ANyway, I was told by many to skip Battle of Atom, so I might, and just go to the next storyline.

Probably one of the slower volumes. It feels like building a lot of things, but not giving us any major moments. Things that were set up are finished, like we finally get Eve telling Mark what happened while he was gone. You also see how things are changing and how Mark's way of thinking is slowly evolving, growing, just like him.

I always have a issue with characters being the same old through their entire time on comic pages. Mark feels VERY different from how he felt back in volume 1. Bigger ideas, scope much larger, trying to figure out who he is and what he is. By the end there's a big twist, and it's actually nice to see changes in our favorite hero.

It's not a super exciting volume but good enough that we move pieces along. Plus we have some great "oh shit' moments by the end.
