Watching girls at a all girls school sneak around and play fighting games. This time we add in two more characters to the mix who play games. One who wants a REAL challenge but never had one, and now must work towards that goal. Still over the top, cute, some Yuri flare, and overall fun. It's not going to win awards but if like video games and cute girls it's worth a read.

So this is the end for all our Otaku friends. Everyone is kind of moving on with life in their own way. And the story ends in a way that it started, just being another day in the life of these characters. There's no grand ending or time skip, just them being who they are and coming out to friends they're otaku, which is done in a sweet way. The best is the little brother and his relationship with his new gf, it is the cutest relationship of the bunch. Overall, this was decent ending to a solid series. The series dipped in quality for me here or there but overall still enjoyable!

Still super cute, and adorable, and now both of them crushing on each other adds some fun moments but not as touching or funny as the last volume but I still enjoyed it. A 4 out of 5.

My god this has a ton of dialogue/exposition.

This is a rare anime I think benifits from being, well, a anime version. It's easier to digest and moves at a btter pacing. Saying that, this volume is still interesting. For the art alone, which is gorgeous I can't deny that. But the story feels very dragged on here and I can understand if someone would drop this early on.

The story is basically talking about going deeper into different levels to get treasures to help keep the community going. But there's dangers the further you go down...

It's start off charming and fun but watching the anime I know how dark it gets. I enjoyed this volume but one of the weaker ones in the series. A 3 out of 5.

I kept going back and forth between 3 star or 4. Listen, this shit is DUMB but in a mostly fun way. The boy doesn't believe in ghost but believes in aliens. The girl believes in ghost but not aliens. They each dare each other to go to places that have aliens/ghost. Neither thinks they'll see anything but the boy gets cursed by a spirit who steals his dick. The girl is kidnapped by aliens with metal dicks who want to use the girl for disgusting things.

See here's the thing. This series feel like the author just had a idea and made shit up as he goes. But it does keep you guessing, some hilarious dialogue. The fights also can be pretty epic with solid art.

There's a few too many creepy moments. Our main girl gets her clothes ripped off by thr aliens and almost raped. Then there's creepy panty shot later where rhe ghost lifts her up by leg and long shots of her crotch.

So yeah there's some scenes that rubbed me wrong way. But at the same time this series is crazy fucking weird and lots of surprises so it keeps it entertaining. I'll check out another volume.

First half was great but second half was meh

Was cool to learn alot more about the thought process of Destiny but wasn't a huge fan of the plotting here. Just felt like was overly written.

Oblivion Song ends on a sweet, somewhat bitter, yet lighthearted tone that I kind of love even if it's a little safe.

What I really loved here was closer to the end we get a flashback scene. Flashbacks sometimes are put just to explain a situation or plot point. But here it's to help the growth of two characters in HUGE ways while also giving context to them in ways I didn't expect. I especially loved this part and it really helped me enjoy the entire story of Oblivion Song even more.

The Alien invasion we were promised happens and I really like how things got settled. Not the typical way, which made it exciting and fun. Also the art seemed to be the best it ever was in this volume.

I will say it feels safe, no big twist, and even with the one big twist it settled back to nahhhh we good. So little let down. But overall I enjoyed the ending and the entire series a lot. Kirkman is the king of endings TBH.

This is actually a really solid volume.

Yosida finally has a dinner with Airi and she admits that she likes him. This kind of annoys Yoshida, but he also finds out she's a virgin when he asks if she would sleep with him. Making the situation awkward but least somewhat interesting. Then Airi wants to come home and meet Sayu after finding out Yoshida is taking care of her.

This brings probably the strongest part the last 3rd which gives new insight to both Airi and Sayu. Giving us reasoning of why she ran away and also a goal of what to do next in her shitty situation. It's great, and opens up some cool storytelling possibilities.

The opening with Sayu outgoing friend, Asami is a bit iffy. It's just over the top and silly but it has some good lolz moments.

Overall, enjoying this manga more than I thought I would. A 4 out of 5.

Revival is a interesting book if not for a okayish last few chapters.

This story is all about Jamie and how his life as a small boy goes in a interesting direction after meeting a preacher called Charles Jacob. Now Charles Jacob suffers a awful tragedy and decides to go against his very teaching, trying to understand death, and maybe even learn the secret behind it. What happens after we die. And maybe that's not the best idea.

While scary in the sense of a bleak and utterly terrible feel of dread of what awaits us after our long or short life, depending on how you view it, it does lack a personal horror punch others have talked about. As someone who isn't a fan of death, and have my own personal questions, I enjoyed the ride here but the destination went a bit to Lovecraftian for me.

Saying that I enjoyed 75% of this book a lot even in it's lowest parts. I think Jamie is a very likeable main protagonist and easy to relate to. I think Charles is a perfect manipulator and we all have someone like him in our life. And think the supporting cast is all interesting.

This reminds me a lot of Pet Semetery but I thought that book tugged on emotional beats and fears better. This one felt a little less personal. But overall a interesting book and I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5.
