Another really solid storytelling tales from Mark Waid. This time we have the major fallout from Zero Hour. Wally is so in touch with the new Speed Force (Amazing how it took this long to create it!) and now is becoming actual energy he's moving so fast. Can Linda and co bring him back to normal, can he stop Kobra before he kills everyone? Find out on the next episode of dragon bal-- I mean you have to read this volume.

Also enjoyed the smaller one shots or two shots. Wally dealing with Linda, them being a bit dysfunctional but slowly falling for each other. The very last two issues were weak though.

A 3.5 out of 5, I'll bump it to a 4.

Man I'm going to be honest, the story was decent enough but this art...

So the story of angels in human like form at war basically is nothing new but Moreci does a solid enough job making fun scenarios and big fights with lots of bombs/gunfire/sword fighting. So the story itself, while silly and very punisher like, is still pretty fun. But...the art? It's hard to tell what the FUCK is happening half the time. Everything looks very in the shadows and I can't even tell who is who sometimes. I also think the flow of the scenes isn't great and this is 100% on the artist for that one.

So yeah, I liked the majority of AWA stuff a lot but this one didn't work for me at all. I hope Michael Moreci can work more though as I think he has a solid understanding on story and dialogue but didn't go well with what the art was showing here. 2.5 out of 5.

Excellent.

Heatwave is going on burning shit down and The Flash decides to stop him. Except when he finds out why he does the most heroic Flash thing and I loved it. One of my favorite issues so far.

Way more entertaining than I thought it be. Watching Jen try to deal with not being a hero anymore, get pulled into a mess, watching people she's trying to save die. It's all compelling with closing out with a court room case which you know I love. Good stuff!

Jen gets mad.

This volume we get to see Jen deal with the bomber. But more so we get to see her past events that led her from being kicked out of being a lawyer. It's quickly paced, some really good moments in jail with another character, and a funny last issue with Hercules. I will say it feels a bit fillish, and nothing major changes, but it somehow stays entertaining throughout. A 3.5 out of 5. I'll bump it to a 4 because I had fun reading it.

A crossover you won't want to miss!

Actually you can but it still enjoyable.

I remember reading some of this in X-Factor but getting the whole story here is nice. Basically Jen and J are trying to stop the secret invasion from happening. If she can find the key to the skrulls. But of course that's tied up with Longshot who's part of the X-Factor. Lots of fighting, heartfelt moments between She-Hulk and a certain super skrull, and a really solid ending.

The art for X-Factor is really bad at times, which is odd, since I don't remember it being. But everything else flows well and the ending was good once more. Again, nothing mindblowing, but solid. A 3.5 out of 5.

Very lackluster compared to main book.

Mostly just two large issues telling the stories of how the doggies got to the farm. Some are extremely dark, some are kind of just glossed over, and one was a nice surprise. But overall, these aren't needed to really complete the story. We do get a nice farewell though and the art, as always, is excellent. A 3 out of 5.

What's better than one she-hulk?

Two She-hulks!

This time Lyra is taken under the wing of Jen as she must learn to use her powers for good. Who's Lyra? Well that's Bruce Banner's future kid. Come on people, we're in comics now. You best know future kids are coming to the mainline. And with her here, Jen and Lyra work together to capture the people who are trying to kill the hulks around the world.

What surprised me most was Harrison's solid dialogue. I mean some is typical high school banter but for the most part everyone sounds real, acts real, and the story itself while quickly paced actually has heart. It helps Stegman's art is excellent as usual and the fights are super fun to watch play out in this title.

I wish we had just two more issues, giving it a proper 6 issue mini-run feel but it was still highly entertaining if just a tad bit rushed at the end. A 4 out of 5.

An okay issue. It sucks because I like Ben alot and he's great here but the beyond Corp is so evil at this point you have to wonder why the heroes aren't stopping them.

A fun get together for a new team. I'll admit I don't know much about some of these characters like Marvel Boy who Night Trasher but was cool to see them working as a team. Also the fact this was basically Marvel's calling to Teen Titans was nice.

A bit more violent than expected. And I think it works best that way. Night Trasher personal story made me relate and understand him as well as watching the team work together. The juggy story was fun. And I liked even the Thinker storyline. The last one was solid if not a bit overlong.

Around a 3.5 but I'll bump it to a 4.
