Jesus Christ I really don't think there is a single redeeming member on this Thunderbolts team...and it makes for an extremely entertaining ride.

So Norman is now in control of the Thunderbolts. You might be asking, how the fuck is that possible. The guy is the Green Goblin. Well Trump was our president for 4 years so go figure, anyone can get into any position with power and money.

Anyway Green Goblin here decides to create a clusterfuck of a team. Use some older members of Thunderbolts (Which I'll be honest, haven't read much of) and take a few new members including the idiot Marc as Venom and the psycho Bullseye, and put them all together. Then put Moonshine as "leader" instead of Songbird and...well you have a horrible team who has issues taking down even some of the weakest superheroes.

This is super fun, and also very snarky and grim. You have a bunch of trained killers well...killing or hurting others. Bullseye, the sick fuck, even grosses out Norman. So you know he's bad. And this team works together for all of a few issues before it all goes to hell. This is the era when Superheroes aren't really able to do much because of Civil War and so the big baddies get to run shit for awhile and it is extremely entertaining.

A 4 out of 5.

A bit of mixed feelings on the ending but overall a interesting look at life/choices/mistakes/and moving forward.

What might have started as a romance title really turns into a deeper look into a slice of life and trying to move on from the past and being stuck in place. With Akira finally trying to move past her injury and get back to work while Kondo is working on himself to become the writer he should have been years ago we have two very different people in different stages of their life trying to finally get to the next stage.

I overall enjoyed a lot of this but it is a bit disjointed in pacing. I like both characters but the growth for them seems to take it's time and we hit some of the same beats which can get a bit boring for me. We also don't get much closure on a lot of characters. But I believe that was the author's intension, things change, and people change, but it takes time.

Overall it was a solid series. Not the best of the genre, but I enjoyed it for what it was and the message was good. 3.5 out of 5. I'll bump it to a 4.

By far the best volume so far.

Miko is trying to muster up the strength to face these ghost. After going through a haunted house like area with her friends she finally takes the first step forward. The rest of the volume deals with Zen, the creepy looking teacher from the last volume, and we get to get his past and find out if he's really kidnapping cats and murdering them.

This is a great volume with a lot of awesome shots. The art is really selling this series so far but this one also has two massive twist. One is like "Whoa, nice" and the other lingers and makes you try to guess what it means. I really loved both and without giving it away, added to two characters at the same time.

I can't recommend this series enough for horror fans and supernatural fans with a little bit of comedy thrown in. A 5 out of 5.

Another solid volume in Kirkman's newest comic series.

This time Owen decides to work with the very people he thought were his enemy this whole time. He takes the war to the Dragon Claw clan now and a all out war begins. With a old face returning, Owen's family in danger, and a "Dragon" that might awake we have plenty of major plot points moving forward here.

This was a lot of fun once more. Fights are great, dialogue solid, good character progression for most of the cast. I like how Kirkman avoids the clichés and just moves characters in a positive direction instead of making up crappy 3 way fighting over a guy who is clearly happy married. I also think the ending gives hints to some cool supernatural storylines we can get into.

While not the best Kirkman stuff it is really fun. A 4 out of 5.

Punisher continues to be a character I enjoy reading even if I think people overrated him a bit too much.

This time Ennis steps down from writing and we have, what I assume, is multiple different writers doing stories. Duane gets main credit here but it looks to be least 3-4 other writers too on here. We have a few different stories ranging from a loser crime-lord on the run from Punisher (One of the better stories) Punisher dealing with being poisoned and having to kill a bunch of people before he dies. Another story of him going to a hills have eyes meet Texas chainsaw area and having to kill a bunch of backwoods' bastards.

This was far more comical than the Ennis stuff. While Ennis had a dark sense of humor, these are even more random and crazy, more laughing at what's happening instead of what a character is saying. I feel like the stories drag on a bit though and there's only so much killing, snapping necks, and ripping people's eyes out before you kind of get bored a bit. While there's some interesting ideas (Killing backwoods sick fucks was fun) it never goes beyond "good" to me with the exception of the one story Dolls, which hit the emotional beat I want to see Punisher cover more.

Overall, solid collection if like Punisher but don't expect greatness. A 3 out of 5.

The Avengers go to the...MOON!

When something bad is going on Steve Rogers recruits a few new guys and gals to find out what the hell is happening up on the moon. He recruits the likes of Moon Knight, Valkyrie, and fucking Antman. Not even Scott, the asshole one who doesn't last too much longer in the Marvel Universe from what I remember. So together the team has to take on Nova, who is possesses by some crown of something by a secret organization ran by...NICK FURY!?

This was pretty fun. It has the weirdest team up I've seen in awhile. Characters who can barely function on their own working as a team is fun to watch. The art is also solid throughout with some great shots. The story is decent though the whole Nick Fury twist at the end was meh.

Overall a fun spinoff Avengers title. I'll check out volume 2.

I've already said enough why this is one of the best romance titles I've ever read. This volume just proves it more with a great family meeting. This time she gets to meet his parents and it works out so well. I also love the fact we have some resolution from the last volume and pickup points that otherwise other books would just have dropped. This is an incredible, sweet, and cute series well worth reading.

This was a really fun second issue.

This time we have the duo go through space areas, face off against a dragon, and learn how to wash your hands. Yep, no joke. It's cute, fun, and interesting. Get a little backstory and forward momentum on the rest of the series by the end. The art is FANTASTIC.

The big reveal is here and Kindred is...someone we already guessed.

There's things I liked about this volume a lot. There's a scene Spider-man fights back after being beat up that just reeks badass. This is also a full on attack on One More Day and Sins Past storyline. Which is great, since both storylines are shit. I also loved the fact Peter is on the edge this whole volume yet he won't give in.

What didn't work for me is it feels like there's something happening at the same time and missing key plot points if don't read the companion book. Also, not a huge fan on the ending as it only leaves more "questions" and not enough answers, which is typical Nick spencer style.

So while not the greatest volume it was still entertaining throughout.

This volume starts off explosive with Edward going head to head with Scar.

See, Scar is one of those rare overpowered characters I was interested in right away because of his actions. Terrible things he does doesn't mean it is for no reason, not a the typical screaming laughing evil character but instead intriguing broken one. After the major fight things slow down and both brothers need some serious fixing up.

In comes Winry! But accompanying the brothers is Alex Louis Armstrong. A very happy go lucky character built like a tank. We also get to see a lot more of the evil characters this time around.

Overall a really solid volume that does slow down and hurt it a bit in the middle but by the end you're right back in it.

A 4 out of 5.
