A silly manga about a girl wanting to become a zombie because she hates her life. It's over the top, yet somehow a bit cute. Some naked bits also, so 18+ here. The story could be stronger, it's just okay. But it's not terrible. Good for a free read. A 3 out of 5.
This was probably one of Chip's weaker works but saying that, it had its moments.
X-Men are doing things different now and they come to Franklin to see if he'd like to come to their island. However, momma bear said FUCK NO, and pushes back big time. Mr. Fantastic also has to get inbetween and the Thing and Human torch each do their own thing. The big issue is NOBODY is listening to Franklin here. Well not till he is kidnapped by Dr. Doom that is.
The first issue is actually really exciting and the last issue goes out with a bang. The final few pages made this mini-series very much worth reading. But the art never reaches great heights, and I feel like the story itself seems everyone is pit against each other because, well, it sells. It feels oddly inorganic, which isn't like Chip.
Saying that I could see the end results causing some MAJOR issues down the line for some characters. I'm excited. A 3 out of 5.

This is when Bleach gets real good.
One of the Captain ends up dead and everyone is pointing fingers. This gives us people to cheer for and question in the Soul Society on top of hoping Ichigo and his team make it to save Rukia. Talking about our favorite Soul Reaper he goes head to head with one of the strongest captains there is. Oh and you get to see Chad's badass self fight a bit.
Overall the backstory with Chad and ichigo is just okay but everything around that is great. Fast paced, fun, exciting, and bloody. This is Bleach at its finest.

A love story about how love could truly suck.
One second you're madly in love with someone and the next you're questioning what's next. This follows a boy at the start who falls in love with a girl very young. But as they drift apart and do their own life they begin to date other people. This is stories of mostly the guy's point of view and how life feels like it's moving so fast yet so slow. That love is there, or questioning if you ever really feel it, before it's ripped away from you.
While not as strong as Your Name (That movie is a masterpiece) this is still pretty solid and just as sad at moments. The ending is abrupt and I didn't love any of the characters like in Your Name (Same creator) but this was a enjoyable romance story with a realistic view. A 3.5 out of 5.

The Alpha Green Lanterns are mega dicks and they are about to use their sense of "justice" to kill one of the biggest Green Lanterns.
In reality this is really a story of setting up the big final crossover event coming next. The wrath of the first green lantern. This has John on trial for killing one of the members of the corps. BUT he did it to protect them. However, the Alpha squad look at it as black and white only. So they sentence him to death! Guy isn't having that though.
The guardians are really pieces of shit. All plotting to get rid of the central members of the Green Lantern corps to make room for their new creation. It's actually frustrating to see what they're doing in the background but it's nice to see how easy a government can use their people and throw them away, makes you realize how they do it in real life so easy too. I also think the fights here are pretty brutal and a great ending. The art can be a little sketchy at times and some ugly faces drawn here or there.
Overall, this is solid build up to the next crossover. Peter writes the corps good here and it's no different. 3.5 out of 5. Round it to a 4.

At first this issue wasn't doing it for me, but then half way through it clicked, and I re-read it right away, and I loved it.
The who done it is here, the vicious murders, the mystery, and the suspense all line up well here. With Sinister and the "pale face" and drug plots all coming to a head we have Wolverine in a bind. This is well done, interesting, and fun. Give me more!

Nice to see wolverine do the opposite of what he usually does. Work with his team, trust people, and be a actual planner. The ending was super sweet and it was nice to see Logan actually get some damn credit for once. This series is always a fun read.
The second wave of X-Men titles is far better than the first. Wolverine has gotten really good, Hellions is TOO fun, and this is really solid.
While I'm a HUGE fan of X-Factor original series, or least one in the early 200's by Peter David, this goes a very different direction. To get resurrected now days for the mutants need proof of the dead body. So X-Factor is formed to figure out if the mutant is actually dead. We have Polaris, Rachel, Canon Ball, and much more. Together they figure out the crimes to allow the fixing to happen.
The series is really charming. Funny, exciting, with a good sense of mystery and P.I. stuff. I wouldn't say it blew me away but issue 1 is way better than expected. a 3.5 out of 5. I'll bump it to a 4.

In this insane installment of Prison school we have the following happening:
1) The boys challenge the warden to arm wrestling. Each boy is falling one by one as her boobs are making them weak in the knees and they can't hold out. But when the pig steps up with a single hair on his chest, will he be able to face off against the warden?
2) The principle asks the question we all need the answer to. Ass or tits?
3) Oh you thought Hana was done with this all? Oh no..she regained her memory of being peed on. Now she wants revenge.
This is the most batshit insane anime I've read in a long time still. I think this volume was funnier than the last so it makes it more entertaining read. If you like absurd and crude humor, you should check this out.
A 4 out of 5.

Much more exciting than the last issue. We find out why the King Egg was created and we get to see it all connect with the X-Men. Oh and Broo? Hell yeah my man! This ending was fantastic. A 4 out of 5.
