X-Factor #1
by Leah Williams, Ivan Shavrin
The second wave of X-Men titles is far better than the first. Wolverine has gotten really good, Hellions is TOO fun, and this is really solid.
While I'm a HUGE fan of X-Factor original series, or least one in the early 200's by Peter David, this goes a very different direction. To get resurrected now days for the mutants need proof of the dead body. So X-Factor is formed to figure out if the mutant is actually dead. We have Polaris, Rachel, Canon Ball, and much more. Together they figure out the crimes to allow the fixing to happen.
The series is really charming. Funny, exciting, with a good sense of mystery and P.I. stuff. I wouldn't say it blew me away but issue 1 is way better than expected. a 3.5 out of 5. I'll bump it to a 4.
