wacky and fun throughout. never bored even for a second.
The only negative is waiting for the next one. Great little horror titles. If you LOVE serial killers you'll love this one!
THOR! FIGHT FOR UR RIGHT! Nah...it's just an okay storyline with Thor as the main character. Pretty places to see but storyline doesn't go anywhere fun.
I finished and a piece of me is GONE! LOL. I really did enjoy this series. It had it's slow parts, and the short story here was meh but overall, it was so fun to read. You really do fall in love with the characters, and they're well written and realistic. By the end I felt sad to say goodbye to the ones I loved but it felt like a perfect way to go out. From start to finish, a wonderful series.
I'm really enjoying this story. The way it progressive just enough to keep my interest is perfect. The characters have multiple sides to them that keeps me from loving or hating anyone. The pace is near perfect, and keeps you engaged. Probably the most entertaining comic I'm reading atm.
A entertaining and quick read. Similar to Sharp objects I guessed the ending once again but still had a fun time reading through. The way Gillian writes her characters always keeps it entertaining.
Again I read these volumes in one sitting. They're so easy to read through cause the writing is top notch and the art is so well crafted, you can't help but love it. We get a little more answers about the Outcast and what they are, but man oh man, what's coming is even more fucked up than you can imagine!
Some issues just aren't all that interesting. It also throws a lot of characters at you and expects you to know or care and you just don't. Still, the dialog is fun and light-hearted, and some great, amazing, art is going on in this volume. I had an enjoyable enough time reading it but expected more.
Mix would be the best way I can describe this one. Some interesting ideas.
First off the thing you need to know before going in to this is this isn't Superman that you know. This is a different take on Clark, and one I found pretty interesting. The idea of finding his place, of not belonging, it's all handled pretty well (far better than Man of Steel movie) and the art is pretty fantastic.
The villain is generic and boring, hellbent on revenge. Nothing I found interesting. On top of that I hated the pacing for the best moments seemed rushed over for a over-dramatic showdown at the end.
Overall it's a fun title without a doubt and will read Volume 2-3 but couldn't help but feel a little bit more would have been even better.
