This is the third book in the "Until We" series. I have enjoyed them all, and I know there are more to come. While you can read each book as a standalone, reading them in order will make the characters feel more familiar.
"Until We Trust" is a great cozy romance read with just the right amount of spice. It even features an adorable golden retriever! The characters in the "Until We" series are relatable, dealing with real-life issues without any fluff or smoke and mirrors. This book will take you through various emotions in the best way, including laughter, swooning, tears, and spice! Add this to your TBR ASAP. This would make a great buddy read as well.

This was a spicy book in the sense of number of open door scenes. So much so that there is a d*cktionary disclaimer at the beginning so you know which parts/chapters to skip over.
I loved this book, especially the mental health representation with Poppy’s anxiety and panic attacks, which I found incredibly relatable. The dual POV added depth, allowing us to see both sides of the story, and the short chapters kept me hooked—I couldn’t put it down! Poppy, with her intelligence and anxiety, is a character I deeply connected with, while Logan, respectful and charming, truly left me speechless. Jess Christine did an amazing job making the characters relatable, and I found myself connecting with Poppy in so many moments. Logan’s respect for Poppy’s boundaries was heartwarming, and their chemistry was electric. This captivating, emotional, and witty debut is a must-read, and I can’t wait for book 2!

Two writers working together to write a rom-com... genius, right? This is my first book by Katherine Center, and I'd give it a solid 4 stars. It’s an excellent beach read with great banter between the main characters, Emma and Charlie. The story made me laugh and also had some sad moments (see warnings). While I personally can’t relate to Emma and her story, I found her likable and believe many people will connect with her. I wish there was more development in Emma and Charlie's romantic relationship.
The narration by Patti Murin was outstanding, capturing the characters' emotions beautifully. The pacing was good and really brought the story to life.
Tropes & Warnings:
Grumpy x Sunshine
Workplace with Forced Proximity
Closed door romance
Death of a Parent & Grief
Caretaker
Cancer
Divorce
Trauma
