This was brilliant.
Harper has always had trouble staying in one foster home longer than 6 months, but when her current home kicks her out her social services career sends her to a home called Shadowford. Here she immediately gets a sense of impending doom and an overall 'magical' vibe.

At the end of it, many of my questions aren't answered but the twist was wow, as well as making me feel quite tense at a particular scene. I'm anxious to read the next one! Bring it on!

This is a perfect sequel to the first book! I found it generally more interesting than the first but that might just be me, because I love rushing to all the action and answers - the hardships of an impatient bookworm!
In this volume is follows Harper after her initiation into the cheer leading squad, which then answers many questions about Peachville, magic and The Order/ The Others

Personally I'm reading all three as one because of my Ebook so I love it as just one big book because it doesn't keep me waiting!

I absolutely adored this third book! Personally I found the first one was rather slow placed and conjured a lot of questions which it didn't have answers to, however in the next two it kept my attention thoroughly. Sadly I can't continue this saga as I've only got the first 3 as a box set, but when I get the money I'm definitely going to be buying the next few.
I did find Harper's mindset involving Jackson a bit annoying as she kept contradicting herself, but the developments of certain characters (cough Brooke cough Drake) were amazing I want to find out what happens!!

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland has been a much anticipated read for me, primarily because of the Disney movie as well as all of the retellings in various forms.
My first impression was that it was surprisingly short as I thought it would quite long considering the hype, however I was pleasantly surprised when I finished it within a matter of 3 days (which is quite short for my reading habits).
It takes Alice from a river bank with her sister down a rabbit hole (from which she thinks she fallen to the other side of the earth) and into her first adventures in 'Wonderland'. Now I either don't remember much of the Disney retelling or I learnt quite a bit as I met the Mock Turtle for the first time. But it was a fascinating read because I'm delving into a world that I know well but not well enough.
The writing style for me was somewhat difficult to read because of the complexity of the sentence structure (which was probably due largely to the era) nevertheless I got used to the diction and enjoyed it thoroughly.

I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT
IT CAN'T BE OVER THE PLOT SO INTRICATE AND THE HUMOUR I LOVE IT

I couldn't finish this book because I haven't read the previous book.
I'm sure it's great by the reviews, so I must finish it!

This was my first ever series I read, and I'm proud to say that. I love Snicket's style of writing and the whole story.

This is such a good sequel to Dizzy, *SPOILER* i loved the part when dizzy and finn come back to find mouse when hes 14 and i love how at the end page theres a picture of a cat and mouse :3

Its good for preteens but i found it easy and quick to read, also the story didnt keep me hooked. But if you want a quick and easy read you may be finish within a week, this is the series to start.
